Barack Obama (@POTUS) joined the Twitterverse today.  The following is a pretty humorous exchange between he and Bill Clinton.  It's funny regardless of political persuasion. 

Bill Clinton:  "Welcome to @Twitter, @POTUS! One question: Does that username stay with the office? #askingforafriend"

Barack Obama: "Good question, @billclinton. The handle comes with the house. Know anyone interested in @FLOTUS?"

Prove those are actually conservatives doing it and that it's even real and not just a created story. It's BS and you know it since it took a hell of a lot of white people to put him in office in the first place. It's beyond me why you insist on listening to those race baiters. Playing the race card has got to stop and even the blacks are beginning to hate it at this point because it's divisive and creating tension everywhere.

Of all the professional sporting venues and events, in which the National Anthem precedes the event, there is in my opinion no better and consistent performance given than at ANY home game for the Chicago Blackhawks.

ALWAYS a stirring and patriotic / traditional performance before each and every single game, which is accompanied throughout by the vigorous cheering of the home teams ravenous fans.

If you ever feel your patriotism waning, purchase a set of tickets for a Blackhawks home game and get there early. You won't want to miss the National Anthem. And if you come away from it unmoved, you just might need to reconsider the country you live in!

In watching the film "Jewel of the Nile" I fid it far more disturbing today than I did in 1985.

Happy Memorial Day, everyone. My favorite childhood memory of Memorial Day is riding or walking around our neighborhood with my friends and cousins. All the fathers were out working the grill and you could listen to the race anyplace outside from all the radios people had brought out on their porches.
