One of my friends on FB gave her black cat a "haircut" here at the beginning of winter in Ohio.  Are you supposed to shear cats like this?

I've never heard of anyone shearing a cat before.  I haven't even seen a sheared cat here in Florida where the summers are hot as hell.

I've seen pic's posted on fb where they've shaved cats to look like lions and put designs in their fur and all kinds of silly stuff.  None of the cats look happy about it either.

  My sister had a long haired cat, she got outside and into a large bunch of cockleburrs and they couldn't get them out.  So the gave the cat a haircut on her body leaving the long hair on her tail and head.   :yes: :biggrin:  Mittens wasn't to happy about it either.   :no: :biggrin:
