The sad part is that racists don't even understand why such comments might seem offensive.

Are you saying my observation is racist and this, (Now liberal talk show host Warren Ballentine telling Juan Williams to get back up on the porch was racist but it was accepted because Juan happened to be agreeing with a conservative point of view at the time.) isn't?  Since when do we have to avoid making comments which are observations and happen to be fact because of someones skin color?  If a black person said the same thing does that make them racist? 
You really need to watch this and pay attention to what he's saying.

Just an observation nothing racist about that.  Clinton did the same thing with his hair when he was running for office and I commented on that but there was no internet then.

Uh, his skin was darker, fact, and to not be able to mention that would be like a black person not being allowed to notice or mention that a white person was pale or seemed lighter because that would be racist.  You logic on this makes no sense.

Does that mean the black person that pointed that out to me is also racist or was she making the same observation of the same person as just that, an observation?  You didn't answer my question about a black person making an observation about a white person being lighter or pale being racist or just an observation.  I'm merely pointing out to you how ridiculous this is, and it is.  I didn't notice anyone calling racist when the observation was made about Michael Jackson's skin getting lighter.  You really need to watch that video I posted.

Is anyone getting a flu shot this year?

I am thinking against it.  A Doctor friend of my wife is also a Pathologist.  He says there IS no way we should get one, IF you can avoid it.  My wives place of work is making it mandatory to get it.  Which seems to me like that is a lawsuit waiting to happen.

Any thoughts?

I wouldn't dare chance a flu season without getting a flu shot! The flu is a very dangerous, even life-threatening, disease. It is also highly contagious. My feeling is that you not only owe yourself the security of getting the shot, you also owe your friends and co-workers so that you don't infect them if you get the flu.

He is not a quack, but perhaps irresponsible with his remarks, but my wife asked, and he answered with his opinion.  He is a highly respected Doctor. 

I am still on the fence.  I have got them in years past and became ill during that season. I have not taken the flu shot and made through a season without getting sick.  I rarely get sick.

I understand what you are saying.  It is a crap shoot as far as I am concerned.
