No, but he has maintained contacts here locally.  He's apparently getting a doctoral degree from Barry University here in Miami and will be walking with the other graduates.

Never cared for him as a player but from seeing him on interviews and hearing all he was into I kind of had him figured as a smart and caring person.  I don't recall ever hearing anything negative about him off court.

Tornado struck in New Ross in Montgomery county Indiana yesterday evening. Estimated to be an EF1 that was on the ground for about 2 miles. . .

Luckily, it hit the ground about 3 miles west of New Ross, and only hit one property.  Still sucks for that family, but it could have been much worse.

   I have never seen an actual tornado, but I sure heard one.  The sound of a vaccum cleaner, freight train sound.  One night we had a tornado warning.  I went outside and overhead I heard this sound and it was headed South.  About 15 to 20 minutes later a tornado dropped down in Fortville and got some houses and barns.  Nobody was hurt. 

  But I will tell you that I never want to hear that sound again.

  Have you ever been in a tanning salon Fog Horn.  I have, there is a nice new one in Noblesville.  Really fancy and I sure wouldn't call it a den of iniquity.  I bought my daughter in law some tanning time for Christmas.  My wife and I walked in and looked around and bought the daughter some time.  Couldn't see one damn thing wrong with it.  What in hell is wrong with you.

Thank you PH.  Maybe coming from your mouth he will understand why a 4 or 5yr old has no business in one of those places.  I could be wrong but even being in a small room while her mom tans she could be getting some of the rays from the tanning bed since they don't close all the way.

  Where did you come up with that information.  I would think sun and being outdoors would be the leading cause of skin cancer and the milder form of cancer Melanoma.

  But with everything in life, excesses in any thing can be bad or fatal.  Just like to much alcohol is probably the major cause of liver Cirrhosis  But then women has been the largest cause of trouble for men and the loss of their money and health, like driving them to drink.
