A little brag...Axel and I participated in the Mutt Strut this past weekend to benefit the Indy Humane Society and raised over $1,600.00 in sponsorships.  Out of an estimated 5,000 participants, we were the fifth largest fund raiser overall!

Congrats! A much needed boost and absolutely worth some bragging.  8)

Arguing with Christians is like playing chess with a pigeon.  No matter how good I am at chess, the pigeon is just going to knock over the pieces, shit on the board and strut around like it's victorious.

The truth is slow, but relentless. Over time it becomes irresistible.

Congratulations Ex!  That's awesome!

Ignorance and fanaticism are ravenous. They require constant feeding.

I actually saw him once in the local Outback.  Nice, very unassuming guy.  I thought I knew who he was when he walked in, but wasn't sure.  I said to the bartender, "Go and ask that guy for a name to start him a tab."  After she did, she told me that he said his name was Amare.  She still didn't know who he was.  ;D

Not an NBA fan I take it. Did you ever have a chance encounter with Shaq when he was there?

No, but he has maintained contacts here locally.  He's apparently getting a doctoral degree from Barry University here in Miami and will be walking with the other graduates.
