Here we go. . . the media is starting its usual MO; randomly speculating on what caused the death of Whitney Houston. . .

I heard Cal Thomas on the radio this morning blathering about drug deaths in the music business and comparing her death to Janis and Jimi.

"According to TMZ, coroner officials told Whitney Houston's family that the singer died from a 'combination of Xanax and other prescription drugs mixed with alcohol.'"

that is what I am hearing........I also heard there was not enough water in her lungs to declare that she drowned....that she was probably dead before she went under....

A: Whitney Houston's crack pipe.

I am very proud to say that my 11-year old son won the 2012 East Elementary 4th, 5th and 6th grade spelling bee!!!

He was among 32 of the best spellers that school had to offer and he was the last man standing!

Ex, I will beat you to the punch...he did NOT get this talent from me.....

He amazed me as I helped him study from  a list of 275 words he would go 50 or so at a time before he would miss one.

I know it sounds like I am bragging but he is really a great kid and I could not be more proud of him.
