Some time ago I posted you and asked you, after you had been terminated  for so long how you liked your new job.  You didn't return an answer.  Now I know why.

Being a man of your age and the positions you have held, I can't think how bad it must be to work in a nonunion sweat shop.  Another question and I don't expect an answer is, how long would you work for this company if a job offer came around with a job like you have had in the past.

It would be interesting in how Henery would take to the road you have traveled in the George W's depression with no decent jobs around.

What we need is more Republican free trade treaties.  More Republican deregulation that let business out source to foreign countries and get a tax rebate and tax deductions.  Also produce the products without American taxes, pollution controls, fair and safe working conditions for their workers and slave wages and bring the shit back and make enormous profit of the backs of foreign workers at the expense of American workers.  It seems to work for Republicans.

When a smart person looks at the total picture, the immigration problems, it is nothing compared with what the corporations, with the help of the super rich that owns them and the Republican Party is doing to this country.

The real problem with the lack of good jobs is letting the corporations move their jobs, production, machinery, research and development, inventions and their responsibility to America and the people in this country to foreign countries.

And Henerey Hawk is for it.  He calls it free trade capitalism.   Just saying.

With the looming default.  Thing might change for me.  We have quite a bit of cash back (for thieves, It's in the bank and a 12 gauge shotgun with double 00 buck and a Colt 45 with Talon bullets at home) and when the government stop all of their checks for S.S and all of the other things people need to live on.

The Republican companies will have to drop their prices big time.  There are a lot of things that won't keep in the stores and on the shelves.  With this money out of the market people won't be able to buy shit.  But I can.  Bring it on Republicans I and live quite a while without my pension and Social Security check.      Let's see the old Tea Baggers starve.  :yeah:  :yeah:

If this happens the Republicans will have to go in hiding and Hawk will be leading the pack with the rope looking :eye: for them. :hanged:

4 are being reported dead at the Indiana State Fair as the stage collapsed when the wind kicked up before the storms rolled in. The rigging came down in the wind. . . 4 now being reported dead.

I've also heard reports of dozens injured and some number of individuals trapped beneath the stage. . .

One question that comes up surrounding this tragedy at the state fair; Is it really wise to attach sails to stage rigging in an outdoor venue?

I've always been fearful of those stage rigs at outdoor concerts. I was at Comiskey Park during one such event in Chicago, and the upper deck caught fire while Jeff Beck was on stage. I saw first hand what an event like that does to a crowd, and it isn't pretty let me tell you. I am surprised that the crowd did not react in more of a panic though, which speaks volumes for Hoosiers in general. . . I think. . .

Those "banners" are nothing more than sails, and in windy conditions they act just like them. My guess is that we will see no more of these things at outdoor events moving forward. . . or should not. . .

Again, the toll is being reported as 4 dead, and 43 injured at this point. . .

And now reports are surfacing that as a many as 200 people were injured in this incident. . . (A spokesman for Wishard Hospital, Todd Harper, said it).

If the riggings are properly constructed and anchored, they are no less stable than a permanent structure.  I think that we'll eventually learn that one or more of the anchor cables was misplaced or not properly secured in the ground.

Stark possibility that much is for sure. I need to revisit the fact I called them "banners" when in reality it was tar ping over the rigging that was meant as a roof. One of the sides had torn loose in the wind and appeared to be a banner from what I have learned. . .

Based on my research, the industry standard for wind resistance for a stage like the one that came down last night without windwalls is 90 MPH sustained.  I'm sure they err on the side of caution and that is a very conservative rating.
