Just because an individual doesn't buy into humankind's "great sky daddy" scam, doesn't mean that they do not care about human life; and it certainly is no measure of the concern they carry for same. To make such a connection is ludicrous!

If I thought you believed that I would think you actually cared about that child.

I don't like to see any human decent person die.  Tho there are a lot of  people on this earth doesn't deserve having a life.

But what give me a pain how someone can just go on and on and on about some child.  If you believe in Your God the child has a sure place to go.

A bomber can blow up a building and and kill a 100 people and what does the news say.  99 men and women kill and one poor baby child was killed.  Like they just blow off the killing of 99 adults.  I call them bleeding hearts.

I wonder how long these bleeding hearts will keep saying that her mother murdered her in the first degree.

Well, just for the record, I do not particulary believe she is innocent of the death of her daughter.  I just stand by the jury and say that she is "NOT GUILTY" according to the evidence that was displayed during the trial.  The system is NOT perfect, but it is a good system.
I believe she will have to answer for her actions, just as we ALL will, someday.  I also believe the truth WILL eventually come out.

Of course you know me, I'd bet money that I'm closer to the truth than the Republican prosecuting prosecutor.

The capital murder charge won't stand.  Someone with more sense will nip this in the bud.  Wanna bet?  But in this bad Republican economy, lawyers need money from the county taxpayers too.

There may not be a connection but I have not seen one word of care or concern for that child, no matter how she died. All he bothered to say was how bad the police, prosecutors, etc. are and to bring religion into a conversation that no one else had mentioned.

The difference is the child has not had a chance to live, imo. They can't fight back, they are supposed to be protected. No matter if you believe in a God or heaven the child can no longer be hurt and that can be a comfort to their family, but it doesn't change the facts. That child was treated like garbage however she died. That isn't right.

So then I guess this means an 11 year old has lived and can defend themselves, and fully understands the laws of the land and the ramifications for breaking them, and is capable of making a cognizant decision based upon all of this? Please!  (Martinsville)

In the case of the Florida child, I don't see anyone on here saying that the individual(s) responsible for that child's death should not be held responsible. What they ARE saying is that the prosecutors and the witnesses for the prosecution were trying to make the evidence fit the crime, instead of proving that the evidence fit the crime. There is a HUGE difference between the two. That fact is the evidence did NOT support the prosecutions "theory" surrounding how the death of the child came about. The jury saw it for what it was, grandstanding and puffery, and judged accordingly.

The Anthony case was no different than the OJ Simpson debacle; both standing as gold standard examples of overzealous prosecution and ineptness!

Geeze, did you get up on the wrong side of the bed or something? Troll asked why people got so upset about a child being killed when they didn't get that way so much about adults. That was my answer to his question.

The eleven year old in Martinsville isn't an adult, shouldn't be tried as an adult, shouldn't be charged as an adult. If the child is mentally unbalanced then get him treatment, if it was an accident get him some counseling, (believe me he will need it), or whatever it takes.

You are right, he didn't say anything except lambast the police and prosecutors and get in his usual cheap shot at religion,  never a word about bring the person responsible to justice or the tradegy that this child died accidently or was killed and thrown away like spoiled food.

Usual cheap shot at religion and the cops and crazy prosecutors.  I can't help it if you want to believe all of that hokcus pokist, magic. The all seeing man who watches you 24 hours a day, 365 days a year for ever and ever and remembers every sin he thinks you do so he can burn you in hell for ever and ever because he loves you.  If you ever would take a look at your belief and how out of place it is and wrong, you might be a little more happy.  Let's pray  :pope:  You know what I am saying is true, but your scared to death to even think of it.   That might tip the scale and send you to hell.  Booo!

The cop and the prosecutors have gotten completely out of control.  As they say, POWER Corrupts and with the judicial system it sure has.  All you have to do is look at the last few decisions made by the Federal Supreme Court and look a the corruption of Judge Thomas.

All I can say is you just one big bleeding heart.

Again, never a word of concern or compassion for this child, only name calling and blaming the police and prosecutors.

Where in you head did you get I don't have compassion for the child.  I said that earlier.  Just because I am not a bleeding heart and want to think only of her, I won't.  Life must go on for the living and what I against is someone calling for someone to pay for this by grabbing the nearest person and lynching her or them, I am against that.

Your mind set is oh, that poor child, oooooooh that poor child, it all we hear.
