  Every day I read the comic strip in the HB newspaper.  One of my most favorite strip is Non Sequitur.

  One of my favorite character is Danae.  She is so close to Sandy Eggo, the strip has to be about Eggo and she is so funny. 

   Today Danae has declared herself the head of The Benevolent Order of Superior Sisterhood and she is going to congress to end The scourge of Stinky, Booger-Brained Boys and put the girls in charge of Everything.

  But when she asks dad to finance the cost of it and he says no.  She screams with you mouth wide open and says. 

                                            :fireworks: THAT'S IMPOSSIBLE.  GIRLS ARE FLAWLESS! :fireworks:

Oil Use in America:

(These are points made during the news conference held today by the POTUS)

  • We own 2% of the entire world supply of oil and consume 25% of it.

  • Oil production in this country has increased to record levels in the last 2+ years.

  • Offshore drilling has substantially increased to record levels the last 2 years.

  • There are a number of on shore leases (long term) that today still stand undeveloped and unused.

  • US consumption of petroleum has decreased 7% over the last several years.

  • Sources for US petro that come from foreign entities amount to less than 50% of the market today

  • The prices of oil products in the US are currently being monitored for gouging, above and beyond the normal levels

  • US oil production has NOT decreased in the last 2 years, but rather increased substantially!

3,000 IU faculty and staff are going to be offered retirement buy outs, and their positions will NOT be filled once they are gone. . .

 BREAKING NEWS !

Neanderthals Discovered and Still Exist!

Scientists involved in the human genome project have isolated and identified alive and well groups of Neanderthals, thought to have been rendered extinct many, many, decades ago.

A spokesman for the project announced this afternoon that not only is Neanderthal still alive and exiting in the world today, but to the great surprise of many in attendance and viewing the live announcement from around the world, the species seems to have congregated in one particular area of the world!

That area is the United States of America, and the species has been hiding under the nose of the worlds population for at least 200 years! The spokesperson clarified this statement by providing an easy way to identify them. Today they are known as the Republican Party!

Nope!  They are those still seated in the State Legislature trying to push a Dark Ages agenda - capitalistic serfdom and religious control for the masses.  Some people just aren't happy with freedom and rights - especially for other people.   :icon_evil:
