Hah, I worked with a guy who his wife caught him running around with another woman.  A week of so later, I guess she hadn't forgot.  She Superglued his penis to his belly.  He didn't know how to remove his playtoy from his belly and he had to pee straight up, he went to emergency.  He said they got quite a kick out of it they brought in all of the staff all laughed and so did we.

Hugged the biggest tree  you can find.  Say's that little ole tree hugger from the far left coast.  Sandy Eggo.

I did and I'm teaching my daughter to be a hugger too. ;D

I love these things. Every year we learn new and different ways to recycle and reuse things. One lady had a clothing and accessory line made out of wrappers...candy, chips, etc. Now I can't see myself wanting to wear any of that, but my daughter thought it was cute. She bought a bracelet for .50 and they taught her how to weave her own. There was a section which focused on alternative energy and fuel and the pros and cons of each. My daughter was a little bored with that, but I thought it was really interesting. Our favorite part was the food section. There were some meat options, but they focus on vegan eating. We always seek out the foods prepared with tofu. I really enjoy it, but I'm afraid to cook it. I had a vegetable like soup with tofu in it. Very tasty. We enjoyed the agricultural section too. The focus was organic gardening. We brought home tomato, radish and cucumber plants as well as a sapling to plant. All free.

Oh and something interesting that we learned at the customs booth...it's illegal to own an eagle's feather unless you are a card carrying native American. I believe there may be another exception too, but it's not me. We have an eagle nest in out back yard and I've been checking to see if any feathers have dropped. I guess I'll stop. ;D

Anyway, we had a great time.

We have at least 28 eagles at our lab site. Feathers are an extremely common sight here. We do not collect them, so they usually end up as some kind of insulating or padding in other creatures'  homes.

For certain of our research programs, we have permission to use them for various purposes, but usually we turn them over to the wildlife rehabilitation center. They have a very interesting raptor program, a part of which is open to the public.
Ignorance and fanaticism are ravenous. They require constant feeding.

The Parks service had a falcon on display. He had swooped to get something running across the road and was clipped by a car and damaged his wing. Thankfully the people who hit him did the right thing and called for help. He can't ever be released into the wild now b/c he has become too dependent on being fed and doesn't seem to care for hunting anymore. I've never been a bird watcher. I honestly haven't cared for birds since I was flogged by a chicken. ;D But looking at him today, I realized why I like raptors. It's the intelligence reflected in their eyes. A lady standing by me said that he had a cold look in his eyes. I disagree. He was sizing us up individually and if we knew what he was thinking was probably pretty close. Chickens? Just look stupid. ;D

Well Henry, it might not be as painful if everyone paid their fair share.

I know what you mean.  Didn't pay enough and they stuck it in my butt.  From that time on we just pay a CPA, which is deductable and we also pay quartly.  Got back almost $1,000 that's going into trip plan.  A little of it is going to the State of Indiana.  They always want more than we pay in.

Yeah, I wrote my annual surplus contribution checks to both the state and feds again this year, and I did it last month.

I can't procrastinate over it because once I do my in laws taxes it just sits there staring me in the face. . .

yea, I know you probably a wizkid with taxes.  Give up and hire a CPA, ours is on Meridian Street in Anderson.  We give him all of our information, he puts it into his computer and out comes the filing.  He is up on all of the newest taxes and tax deductions.

It's so easy, even a cave man can do it.

Isn't it against the Federal law to have in your possession eagle feathers?  I think I heard that even American Indians have trouble getting eagle feathers for their bonnets.
