Made dinner, visited with the company, cleaned up the kitchen, took an evening nap after everyone left, and played on FB for a while.  :biggrin:

After 20+ years in the military, my dad used to get up at Oh-dark-ridiculous out of habit. He would have said that. :yes:

Funny thing is, I gave him a hard time about it for years. I find that I no longer sleep in on days off. I'm turning into my dad. :spooked:

  Yep, we all turn in to one parent or the other.  I am my dad, especially in  :wink: :biggrin: medical things and the other day I said to my wife, "I married your mother".  Which she didn't take too kindly.  :wink: :biggrin:

  I worked for years getting up at 5:15 AM.  With some of the hours I worked, I would disappear into the bowels of the plant where I worked and never see the sun.  In the winter I would go in, in the dark and come out in the dark.  Now my hearts don't start beating until 8:00 AM. :grin2:

today, i'm enjoying the last day of sleeping in.  kids go back to school tomorrow.  and i'm cleaning.  i'd rather be walking a few miles, but it's rainy and chilly out.
