Actually, there are absolutely valid arguments against what you claim; this article sums it up quite well (not that you'll probably read it or understand most of it if you do).  One obvious question the article asks is if the U.S. was, in fact, founded on Judeo-Christian philosophy, why didn't it happen hundreds of years earlier when the chrurch's influence was much stronger than it was in 1776?  The basis for our system of government and rule of law existed long before your religion did...your religion adopted and incorporated those principles, not the other way around.
Arguing with Christians is like playing chess with a pigeon.  No matter how good I am at chess, the pigeon is just going to knock over the pieces, shit on the board and strut around like it's victorious.

The truth is slow, but relentless. Over time it becomes irresistible.

Nice try at once again trying to push your religion off onto others with the claim that our country was founded on it, though.  You people are always trying...

It WAS....EX, there is not even a real arguement against it....despite your self-profound IQ, and I honestly beleive that your are a very intelligent person, and you have provided some very provocative arguement on other subjects, this is NOT one that you can remotely prove enough concrete evidence to make anyone logical thinking to be persuaded.  There is enough to prove that they WAS, very rooted with Judeo Christian beliefs.

Why did the Puritan's come to America?  It was to get away from religious  persecutions and what did they do, burn mainly women at the stake and drown them in dunking stools.  They were so bad, or you would think so good, they drove the Catholics to Massachusetts to get away from them.  Wow, their good people.

But these people did not form this country or write the Constitution.  A group of whisky drinking rich boys who was tired of the King of England and the religious nuts, yes they had nuts back then.

In fact they wrote it to protect us from you people, the religious nuts.

I read your religious bog, all that mean nothing.  If this country was to be run Godly what in hell happened to it.

Especially under George W..  With God telling him to run for president and God telling to attack Iraq.  And of all things, the separation between the church and the government in the Constitution.  Who would guess that.

The only place you win is in your head.  Well, Glen Beck will save you and your family.  Good Luck.

it was NO blog troll, it was FACT, google it, ALL of our States, put GOD, in the preamble....because they believed God was an important of governing, and keeping citizens to a moral standard....

With the exception of Virginia with its ". . .mutual duty of all to practice Christian Forbearance, Love and Charity towards each other . . ." phrasing, (which I suggest right here could be found to be unconstitutional), NONE of your sources say anything about said "creator, being, etc., being of Christian descent or any sect for that matter. About the only thing that can be said about this is the fact that every state acknowledges the existence of a "higher being or power", and that it is each citizens choice as to how to worship said being, or choose not to!

That being the case, just how is it wrong for any religion to build a place of learning, fellowship, worship, and prayer 2 blocks from ground zero of the 9/11 attack site, when the Oklahoma City attack site contains Christian religious symbols???? Especially when the Oklahoma City attack itself was perpetrated by a Christian!

the people in Oklahoma are NOT upset by any Christian symbol that was placed there....the people IN New York, do not believe THAT spot is a good place to start building bridges between folks....why is it so hard for you to understand this?

and as far as Christian Nation....let me put it this way.....Our forefathers was CLEARLY, Godly men...enough to have GOD mentioned, and to honor Him and give THANKS to him....the religion of choice back then was predominately Christian...so, YOU do the math....

why do you feel the need to argue this, when it is SO obvious that it is what it is.....

Nobody today is putting any guns to anybody's head making them a Christian....but, respecting our heritage IS important to most Americans.....and that heritage WAS a fact that they believed in God, and felt it important to realize that our Liberties was because of God.

I am never understanding or tolerant of the practices of religious bigotry! What is so hard for you to understand about that?

Makes one wonder why they chose to incorporate vague terminology to refer to a higher being. . . Could it be because endorsement of ANY religion by government is unconstitutional?
