Yes Sir, the Republican Party is for the working man.  :haha:  The governor of Kentucky just sign a bill making Kentucky a Right To Work state.  Oh yes, a Right To Work for Less state.  If you work for a union shop, you don't have to pay dues.  But if you get in trouble with the company, the union has to defend you for free and any benefits the union wins for the workers, this SCAB (Henry) get it too, FREE.

The law does only two things, destroy the union and drives down wages of the SCAB (Henry) workers.        :zoners:
If unions weren't so crooked, we wouldn't be having this discussion........many of them got too greedy and corrupt..........Not all unions are bad, but the one's that are, are spoiling the apple cart.

The very basis of the existence of labor unions is to secure, protect, and defend the compensation, benefits, and quality of life of its membership via the vigorous representation of same within all contractual negotiations and dispute mechanisms outlined within the bargaining agreement(s).

The very basis of the existence of senior management is to secure, protect, and defend the profit and viability of the company they are employed by, via the vigorous representation of same within all contractual negotiations and dispute mechanisms outlined within the bargaining agreement(s).

Corruption is within the natural laws that compose humanity in its ever ending struggle for increasing power and material wealth.

The failure of the governing bodies of both, to restrict and punish those individuals that fail(ed) to uphold the basic responsibilities of their respective employer(s), is the root cause for the decline of "profitability" of the employers. Period.

What we have seen over the last 20 years is nothing short of the slow torture of the common working class, as they are thrown under the bus by both entities in an effort to allow said entities to maintain their quality of life and compensation levels.

As a result wages are severely depressed, basic, hard won improvements won decades ago on the backs of labor are also disappearing rapidly, and the result is that the average worker now finds they are working under similar conditions to that which existed in the early 20th century. Including wages.

The lion's share of blame for this falls squarely upon the shoulders of corporate America, for if it weren't for their utilization of the loopholes contained within "Free Trade Agreements" to flee America and abandon American working class families, we wouldn't be in this situation. If leadership had negotiated in good faith, had the hard conversations with representation during negotiations and not caved in, (effectively kicking the can), they'd have never had the free trade agreements to leverage labor with.

Unions were by and large just doing their jobs. Management failed epically to do theirs and then ran like scalded dogs for foreign lands.

Exactly why we need to "drain the swamp"!  Lobbyist & Lifetime politicians are the REAL reasons why Unions and Corporate America have done what they have done.  Trump is our best shot at achieving this.

By filling his cabinet with exactly the same special interest groups he campaigned against?

There is still a slight pulse, but Obamacare is close.

Guess we'll be going back to the days where people like you will have to be dragged into court to pay their medical bills.

No, now maybe, we will have people able to afford pay their bills since they won't be paying enormous premiums, which they cannot afford because of OBAMACARE.

This is a real fact you don't like to discuss.......but, I know several, who are NOW paying outrageous premiums, and get much less coverage.....

That bill was a disaster, and you guys LOVE to ignore it.

Maybe they should pay their bills before they take vacations the can't afford.  That's what real men do...take care of their responsibilities first.

The Republican talking point about that bill, which you just parroted, are absolute bullshit but you wouldn't know that because you are incapable of learning anything that doesn't align with your warped, ignorant view of reality.

SEE, another thing, us conservatives actually DO care about America and it's people, unlike the democrat party who is ONLY out for themselves....keeping the poor, poor!  They have fooled so many of them into thinking THEY will take care of them with food stamps and such..........they are only interested in buying their votes.

The GOP actually WANT to create jobs so EVERYONE can have good insurance and all the things you need to raise a family.

Wait and see, time will soon tell us..............America is going to be GREAT once again.  A strong economy fixes most of these problems we now face.

Hogwash!

We've had 8 years of nothing but "NO" from the GOP and it's bevy of corporate pandering whores.

We've had more than a decade of the GOP shoving "right to work" and "at will" state status down our throats at the state level- totally eliminating workers rights and enabling corporations to run roughshod over their employees with impunity.

We've had 8 years of the "demands for cuts" from the GOP, and when they are implemented the first things they go after are the social safety nets that help the least amongst us; the ones who can afford it the least.

We've had 8 years of the GOP holding the citizens of this great nation hostage via the shut down of government, obstructionist politics, and refusal to fund social safety net programs.

We've had more than a decade of the elimination of labor laws, workers rights, and workers benefits; including but not limited to the elimination of pensions in favor of the pyramid scheme 401k plans that are a roll of the dice at best.

We've had more than a decade of a SCOTUS imposing ultra-conservative will upon the laws of this nation, and enabling infringement upon individual constitutional rights by corporations, by granting these soulless/faceless corporations the very same individual constitutional rights without requiring them to conduct their operations in compliance with the rights of their employees.

The list goes on and on surrounding the egregious and treasonous acts undertaken by the GOP and it's bevy of corporate whores.  And the election of the Raging Cheeto is just the latest development in their grand scheme to eliminate the middle class and mock democracy by making it available only to those who have personal revenue streams above 1 million!
