That's why their 'solutions' are what they are - restrictive and oppressive.

Take immigration for example...

"Build a wall" and "deport 'em all!" without any thought of whether it would actually work, how would it be paid for, or whether you could actually deport over ten million people.  Drug smuggling has shown that walls, fences, etc. don't stop the smuggling any more than they would stop illegal immigration.  I do not think that over ten million people could be rounded up for deportation with MAJOR violence.  I'd like to hope NO one in this country wants that.

...Or terrorism...

Regular crime in America is a FAR bigger problem than those bogeyman terrorists hiding under your bed to slaughter your family.  These skeerdy-cats don't have the sense to rank their silly fears by actual probability.  They're getting completely scare of anyone who isn't like them - white, straight, x-tian.

As an aside, did you hear about the mathematician hauled off a plane and interrogated because some woman saw him doing calculations and reported him as a terrorist?

There are FAR too many stupid and scared people in the world taking up good folk's air.
Just let them come here, give them free stuff, (how much does that cost), don't deport the criminals and make they can bond out, employ them ahead of us, make us learn their language, let them vote. Oh, and make sure you honor their countries laws, you know, the ones they left because of, and above all don't dare do anything to insult or upset them even as they stomp on and/or burn our flag. I have a question too. If all of our jobs moved to Mexico why are they coming here shouldn't we be going there? I'm sure they would welcome us just as they expect us to welcome them without going through the proper chanels.

They just disagree with his polices.  They're not racists.

On the Rethug side, the entire movement has its roots in racism and bigotry - white backlash.

That's why the constituency is so easily whipped into a frenzy by racist and bigoted propaganda - the fear of the other, and loss of white supremacy and status.

They're scared to death and Trump has been a master at exploiting their fear and presenting them with scapegoats.

Yes, the story got some attention on the local news here.  But no indication anybody seemed embarrassed about it.

Congratulations...you just regurgitated every Trump talking point and proved Y's point in one badly constructed paragraph.  Good sheep.

Disprove it then and quit being juvenile about it with your pointless digs. Those are not Trump talking points, I don't even like him, they are observances. Illegals in Cal can now vote thanks to Brown so how long will it be before they are able to vote in the presidential elections? I am not only referrring to Mexican's I'm also referring to those who are bitching about us not observing Sharia law and not wanting our flag flown because it offends them. Are you really that blind?

Uh, no they can't.

Never going to happen...who cares what they want?

And on the other side of the coin this pisses me off just as bad as the libs going after the kids and families of the candidates. So what if it is true it has nothing to do with what's going on now and her ability to handle the job. I can't stand the woman but, as I said, this should not even be part of the discussion. Discuss the real issues people...All of you, well, and me too I guess.
