I debated putting this on the San Bernardino thread, but isn't this just common sense?   What's wrong with the Republicans?   Are they really that fearful of a backlash from the NRA to the point that they're willing to potentially let people on the fucking terror no-fly list purchase weapons?

In one of a series of near-party-line procedural votes, the Senate by 54 to 45 blocked a proposal by Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) that would have stopped people on the government's anti-terrorist "no fly" list from buying guns. Republican opponents said that the no-fly list includes too many errors to be used for preventing gun sales.

Clearly they are.
Arguing with Christians is like playing chess with a pigeon.  No matter how good I am at chess, the pigeon is just going to knock over the pieces, shit on the board and strut around like it's victorious.

I just love Mr. Trump!!!!!!!    :sweetheart: :bouquet:    He's got the Republicans and the Democrats in a big circle jerk and not knowing what to do about him.   :haha:  :haha:  :salute: Mr. Trump.       :repub:

Trump fits in well with that clown car crowd. He's just as extremist as the rest of them, only a bit steroidal in his approach. If he were to obtain the nomination it would only certify us having another 4 years of democratic leadership. (Which in and of itself makes me more than a little frustrated.)

This nation has always balanced itself by cycling the party in the White House through; with one party undoing the damage of the other in the process, and thereby cycling the ebb and tide of any one party's "platform".

The problem is the GOP has racism issue, and extremism issue, and every single one of them thinks they deserve to be the POTUS. They cannot get out of their own way, and they cannot even agree on what the platform consists of! They've allowed themselves to become fractioned off, guaranteeing the division of party votes; and along the way the election of the competition to another 4 years.

Trump will run on his own if he doesn't get the nomination. He's so full of himself there will be no stopping him.

I can't believe the number of people celebrating Ralph Peters calling Obama a ***** on Fox.  It really says a lot more about him and about them than it does about Obama.

FoxNews has suspended him for his remarks.  He crossed the line....Stuart Varney with fox, was upset by his remarks and called him out on it.

I'm not so sure Trump should be courting that endorsement.   She's fuckin' stupid and a lot of people know that.
