You are so not true with that statement. I work for Conservative family owned business.  I am happy, along with the rest of my co-workers.

Yep, you sure work for a Conservative family business.   How long has been since you got a raise?  Over 4 years and everything you buy has gone up. $$$$

But I bet your family own business you work has been making more money than ever under the Obama and Democrat presidency.
The stock market is it's highest in history.  Poor old stiff conservative Henry.  :haha:  :haha:

I have actually receive a quite generous raise after working through some bad economic times.  I have been sent numerous time around the country for continuing education.  The stock market is not employing people or helping them off of gov. assistance.  It isn't creating the millions of good jobs we need.  We are NOT out of the woods yet troll.

So whose responsibility is it to create those jobs?  The Bush era tax cuts for the wealthy that you said would accomplish this are materially still in place so where in the fuck are those jobs that these job creators create when their taxes are lowered?

No we are not out of the woods  yet, but we are really doing pretty good.     And we are doing it with any leadership from the Republicans.

They got rid of one of your assholes Eric Cantor,  :kick: now they need to get Turtle Head McConnell :kick: and buffoon John Boner.  :shots:

Though I am not fans of Cantor, McConnell and BONER.......I would say it was republicans holding down spending had a more to do with the economy from getting worse ....I would also say the fed and Bush's TARP had equal or more than anybody in Washington in keep it from slipping back into a recession, which we are STILL close to having.

TARP, you got to be kidding, bailing out the crooked banks.  :007:  Increasing our national debt by billions and no one going to prison.  What a economist,  Bunky the brain.  :haha:  Good job George W., saving your Republican friends.      :grin2:

I didn't say TARP was a good thing, just that it did as much or more than the Obama stimulus & spending, that was supposed to fix everything.

I think had we done NOTHING, it would have been the same, except we would NOT be in as much debt as we are now.

Your racial bias has clearly prevented you from doing any research whatsoever on this topic.

Bunky, where is the leadership in your Republican Party.  There isn't one smart "man" in your party, not one leader and definitely all on the take from the super rich and the corporations.

You got an old house, old furniture, old cars and an old wife (well she's not a young chicky) and you still vote Republican,  WTF.  :haha:  Have you got a million dollars in your 401K yet, you only have 10 more years before you're 65.

Troll, I have a profit sharing program that is on its way to providing my Golden Years.  But, due to the last eight years of democrat leadership, it has dramatically slowed down because of the inability for this party to produce jobs and a booming economy.

I agree that the republican leadership sucks but the democrats are the ones making WALLSTREET  richer than ever (you know those EVIL corporations) and yet we have more than ever on food stamps and those relying on government assistance.

I was on the way to early retirement until the George W. Bush stock market crash in 2008. My 401(k) lost 2/3s of its value:rant:

Since Obama took office, my 401(k) has more than quadrupled in value, putting me back on a retirement track.

But if the democrats would not have created the housing bubble that burst.........you may have never lost it in the first place.

We can get into that if you insist. But my point is that you said yours "has dramatically slowed down."

My guess is that's your own fault for choosing the wrong stocks for your portfolio.

Really? The experts at Forbes have a decidedly different opinion.

Real leadership requires calling things as they are and taking responsibility for past actions. In this election year, and as our great economy still only pokes along, it is time to get serious and admit that the major economic arms of the federal government, the Federal Reserve and the Treasury, mismanaged the currency, and concede that because of it the nation had to endure not only the mildness of the 2003-07 boom, but the brutal Great Recession as well.
