GM sold 23,461 Volts in 2012 compared with just 7,671 in 2011. The Volt greatly outdid the Corvette, of which only 14,000 were sold last year.

I wonder how many more Corvettes would be sold if there was a $7,500 tax credit?

A tax credit based on what, having a small dick?

It's a joke, Hank.

Based on the old saw that those who buy ultra high powered automobiles are compensating for small male genitalia.

I thought it was very amusing, having owned a 'Vette at one time.

I totally get it....just sidetracking the real point.  If the vette had a huge tax credit as the Volt has, it sales would probably triple.

I'm confused.

Yes, you're right, the sales would increase, but so would the sale of any other vehicle.

Your point?

And my joke addresses that point...for what reason would you give a tax credit for a gas-guzzling car that has very little utility value?

And it was a point that I got immediately from your comment.  ;D

They are either dense or ignoring your point HH.  I, personally, think they're dense.

I know they mostly do that when they get uncomfortable about what's brought up.  Just a way to get off the subject and try to beat us down.  That's the way bullies operate ya know.
