Translation - "I pulled this lie out of my ass".

The real figure is $29.00/hr. (By comparison, the average wage of the hourly personnel in the facility in which I work is $21.50/hr.) Their benefits amount to about 15 bucks more an hour, making the comparison to my employer 44/hr - 36.50/hr. THEN your figure adds in the costs of OT, retiree benefits, and a bunch of other hocus pocus to arrive at the 70 buck an hour figure. (Just like the used care salesman analogy I used earlier).

It is still a cost to the employer so it can be included in the pr hour wage.

all I stated was the st. johns is a non-profit organization.....the Troll said they no longer were.  He is wrong, I am right.  PERIOD

Come on man. Right here you are saying a lot more than that. (In for a penny, in for a pound).

Anderson St. John's is owned by St. Vincent.  Just ask the ER, how much they spend on those who don't have insurance for people seeking pain killers, people who have a stomach ache, or a head ache.  Millions of dollars.
THEY ARE A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION.  Spin it all you want, they are.  St. Francis may not be, never said they were.

Just like that sign in the ER at St John's aka St Vincent's: "If you require care for a life threatening condition you will be seen and stabilized, regardless of ability to pay. If you are uninsured you will be directed to another facility for further care post stabilization."

In other words, we won't let you die, but after you are stable we're going to kick you to the curb because you don't have no insurance. (Or you have medicaid).

Once you're stabilized they will put you out for sure.  60 minutes had a story where hospitals in New York City where they would take people in a cab and let them out on the street in down town New York.  60 Minutes had it and I seen it.  It is a fact.

And if you are going to use that bastardized math to vilify the auto industry, then you had better damned well use it with the industries and companies you are comparing them to.

That's the fuggin problem with statements like this one, when the propagandists make them the god damn sheep make the connection that the number is a direct comparison to the HOURLY wage their employers are paying them. And we both know that is nothing but deceitful bait and switch tactics.

The sheep automatically equate that figure as meaning the average auto workers BASE pay amounts to $145,600/ year with NO overtime. And that is nothing but bullshit.

If it were true they'd all be driving top of the line SUV's and sports cars. And one look into the parking lots of those automakers demonstrates that is FAR from the truth.

It's a damn lie, plain and simple!

I will agree it doesn't have to be added if you're talking take home pay but if you're talking cost to the employer it does have to be included.  Total it the cost to the company for each employee.  The take home pay is not shabby either so they are far from underpaid for what they do. I'm talking about the average assembly line person not the skilled trades here so don't start on that.

And the facility I work in has a direct line of comparison, so should we start demanding they take pay cuts too? The fact is when you do your bastardized math on all companies, you'll find that a lot of them are within a few dollars of that magical 70/hr mark, so what's the big friggin deal?

I'll tell you what the big deal is. The government bail-outs were paid back, the companies are now doing much better, but the republican dirty tricks team wants the sheep to bleat otherwise, and are facilitating that effort by using bastardized math and comparing it to "hourly wages".

Deceitful, and nothing short of bullshit. It is just that simple.

Too bad all that past experience didn't make you a better person instead of a greedy snob.  Yes, I consider you greedy and a snob because of your attitude about being worth so much, as far as your bragging about what you have, how much you made, and feeling you are/were worth those excessive wages, to impress other people who may not have been so lucky.  I am not impressed in the least.

That is what is so good about America, I don't give a damn what you think.  I paid my dues, I served my country in the Army and you didn't, you just sat on your big fat ass soaking up the freedom us service guy bought you.  Dumb ass.

I served a 4 year apprenticeship, going to school for four years.  I learned and mastered the pipefitter and plumber trade.  Also I receive a Plumbing Contractor licence from the state of Indiana.  Besides working at Ford Motor Co for 38 years doing hot, dirty, dangerous jobs which you would never be able to do even if you had the Hawk helping you.  Also I operated my plumbing business for 45 years.  Hard work but life was good.  Sweetie Pie.

You sat on your big fat ass shuffling paper in a minimum wage job feeling sorry for yourself, not wanting to give anyone a break and letting them out of poverty.  You want to stand on the poor people throats.     I can't help it if you're not to smart, not to bright, that you are hard headed, a cry baby.  You made your bed and you can lay in it.  Don't blame me for your poor upbringing and lack of common sense.

I was taught that if you worked hard you could play hard.  So I had fast cars, I had fast boats, has a fast motorcycle, chased fast women, I learned fly and owned my own airplane.  But the best is thing I found a good, wonderful, smart, beautiful wife and we will be married 50 years in 2013.  Life has been good, because I earned it.  But your man Mitt says that I'm in the 47% of the people who he doesn't care for.  Believe it or not you're in the lower part of the 47%.  Mitt could care less, if you died tomorrow.

All I have to say to you is good luck, you need it.    BBBB :witch:

Then why are so many people still out of work and companies closed up?  Also if it is a cost to the company for each employee it doesn't matter how you figure it it's still a cost to the employer pr person even though they may not take it home with them.  If you hire someone to do some work for in your home and they charge you $10pr hour plus you have to buy them a gourmet lunch you are paying him more pr hour when you break down the cost of the lunch than just the $10 even though he isn't taking that extra home with him he still benefits from it.

You claim that I deliberately lied, but what is non profit.  A non profit organization can pay their CEO and staff anything they want.  They can buy anything they want for the hospital and they can charge anything for their services.  Yes Hawk, going to non profit hospital can cost you more that going to a for profit hospital.  It's all a number game and a tax dodge.  Yes sir, they can do anything but show a profit at the end of the year.  Get out your math book Henry.

So if you think that I lied,  SORRY!  I know and we have caught you in many lies.  So don't have a panic attack.  Just go smoke some more of "The God's Mushrooms"  :music1: Smoke, smoke that mushroom cigarette :music1:  puff puff yourself to death and you can tell St Peter he will have to wait :music1: Because you have to have another Mushroom cigarette.  :music1:      Skippy.

Have you noticed that St. John's, St. Vincent's, St. Francis and many more religious hospitals has been changed over to for  profit hospitals.

THAT is a LIE.

There is nothing else to argue about.  What he said is NOT TRUE.

St. Vincent is a member of Ascension Health, the USA's largest not-for-profit and Catholic Healthcare System, St.Vincent Health is Indiana's largest healthcare employer, with 17 health ministries serving 45 counties in central Indiana.

You are spreading lies, saying they have "been changed over to for  profit hospitals."

Olias?  You are the lie detector, had I, or ME, said something outright as this, YOU guys would have called us out on it.

This is just one of many, that Troll spews on a regular basis....but it is "crickets" around here.
