I don't suppose it ever occurred to you this may just be a dem trying to cause trouble did it?

Nope.  You're just denying the obvious and are too much the coward to say what you really think.  Every single example that you, Henry or Anne have ever provided on this forum regarding the current administration's failures has been soundly refuted and every single policy you have claimed to be against has been proven false.  You all continue, unabated by fact, to spread these lies.

It is what it is.
Arguing with Christians is like playing chess with a pigeon.  No matter how good I am at chess, the pigeon is just going to knock over the pieces, shit on the board and strut around like it's victorious.

Add another idiot to the Republican Party.  After Republican  Senator Todd Akin said that women couldn't pregnant after a forceable rape, because her body wouldn't let it happen.

The next stupid Republican Mitt Romney said after his wife's plane cabin filled with smoke.  That they couldn't open the windows to let out the smoke.  "I don't know why they don't do that. (the windows don't open) It a real problem."

I don't think that opening a window at 30,000 ft. and going over 500 miles an hour would be a good idea.    Just saying.  :haha:  And they the Republican want to give Mitt the Atomic Foot Ball.   Oh my god.    :sa:

Romney and his wife gave 29.4 percent of their income to charity in 2011 and Obama only gave 1%.............as normal, the republicans are more willing to GIVE their OWN hard-earned money rather than giving OTHER peoples hard-earned money.

I over looked this little jewel.  How much did you give to charity?  29.4%?  It would be a cold day in hell if that happened with you.  Right Skippy?

Hey, dumb ass.  Just who do you think pay for it.  It is you, me and the other people who use the medical system.  With higher medical cost and the lowering of medical care.  I do believe you are a moron when you say, no tax dollars used, we pay for it.  Red Squirrel.  Go store some more nuts.
Hey dumb ass.  It was people who give to charity like the different foundations and the hospital itself not taxes.  Totally different than Medicare and Medicaid.

Bullshit. The very scenario Troll posted is EXACTLY what started all of this. (At least that is the "validation" most "for profit" hospitals use as a reason for increased health care costs).

There may have been a time, decades ago, when what you say held some weight, but that time is not today.

Bankruptcies over medical bills, people using false ID to obtain care and skipping on the bills; and an increasing portion of them are doing it today because they have no health insurance and cannot get any. . .

As a former business-owner, what did you do about "shrinkage"? You know, that percentage of your merchandise or services that "disappears" every month / quarter? Why, you factored it into your "overhead" and increased prices to make up for it.

The "philanthropy" in medicine is gone, and it has been replaced by "business's" number one objective, profit. (If you don't believe it, just ask your doctor).

Ok whatever.  I just imagined there were foundations and donations that help in situations like that.  There is no such thing it's all tax payers and over pricing.  Only the government can truly help 'cause we, ordinary people, are so stingy and dumb.

Open your eyes :eye:  Mini"ME".  Have you noticed that St. John's, St. Vincent's, St. Francis and many more religious hospitals has been changed over to for  profit hospitals.  Even the Heart Ass. and the Cancer Ass. won't help you with your heart or with your cancer.   Put your mighty research machine in to action and tell us where to get free help for our diseases.   Like yours, mental disease.  Or just plain stupid disease.

When people don't pay for medical care it has to come from somewhere.  There sure is not a health care fairy.  :tink:  Come on Tinkerbell wake up.

Troll, I don't know about St Francis, but St. Johns, which is notw, St.Vincent's is a member of Ascension Health, the nation's largest not-for-profit Catholic Healthcare System. ....

. . .Overall, the 196 hospitals surveyed received $3.3 billion in 2010 state and federal tax exemptions and spent only $1.4 billion on charity care--a gap of $1.8 billion. Three-quarters of the hospitals got more dollars in tax breaks than they spent on charity care. Half spent less than 2.46 percent of their operating expenses on charity care. . .

http://www.alternet.org/labor/not-profit-hospitals-make-billions-and-provide-little-charity-care

This a 2010 article on Cali NFP hospitals, but it is a safe assumption that it is rampant across the country. So no, I've already called out the"lie" in this and it wasn't by Troll. . .

The fact is NFP medical facilities reap billions in tax exempt revenue, and at minimum 50% of them spend only a minuscule percentage of that tax exempt income on charity medical treatments and services. And their web sites will tell you what you want to hear in order to feel all warm and fuzzy about them. . . Just like the republican party. But their actions tell the REAL story.

These NFP's are costing billions in tax revenue to the localities in which they reside. And they do very little in philanthropic endeavors surrounding the uninsured and poor.

Given Anderson's desperate situation how much do you think they really are doing at St Vincents?
