The rag head leaders care about dieing.  But times have change, we don't need the same number of ships as we had in World War II.  For one we don't need the big battle ships and the big cruisers and so many other ships we used then.

With the new automated gun and rocket ships,  guided missile ships and America with the largest fleet of Atomic powered submarines.  I'm quite sure we can take care of ourselves.  We have grown weak from the drain of wars and military expenses. But as you say.  :music1: Onward Christian soldiers, marching off to war. :music1:  War and god makes your whole world.

Before a crowd in N.H yesterday Rick Santorum said, "there should always be a Jesus candidate".  Is that Rick or did he mean, "JESUS, I'M A CANDIDATE!!!!!!"

Close to 15% of federal taxes -- or $385 billion -- went unpaid in 2006, according to new estimates by the IRS.

That's the net tax gap number -- meaning what didn't get paid even after the $65 billion the IRS managed to collect through audits.

And it's the closest proxy policymakers have to the country's annual revenue shortfall, said Mark Luscomb, the principal federal tax analyst at CCH, a tax information publisher.
What's driving the shortfall? A whopping 84% of the total tax gap is due to underreporting of income by corporations, small businesses and individuals. . .

Read a "letter to a congressperson" written by someone I know, and it frustrates me to no end.

The person wrote it to encourage the congress person to support the "right to work" legislation the repugnican party is trying to ram through here in Indiana.

Do these jackwagons NOT realize they are cutting their own throats with such legislation? Do they not see how it panders to the wealthy while trampling the blue collar workforce? (Especially in an "at will" state).

But should a person be forced to work for a union if they don't want to and should unions be forced on a business if the employee's don't want it and the business doesn't either?

I got an idea, why don't we have it that if a person doesn't want to pay union dues when he or she is receiving union benefits.  Let that person not receive those benefits and negotiate with the company on their own.  With this these people will have no union represention and no union dues.  If a forman, straw boss or working is unfair to those workers they can go to the CEO with their complain and work it out by themselves.       I think this would be fair to everyone.  They could have it just like the people who work for Walmart.

Then everyone would be happy especially the SCAB.   Honey Poo.  :grin2:

If the unions really are working in the workers best interest and not that of their own pockets then why do they feel they have to have card check and use intimidation to get in places?  It is simply another form of extortion period.
