Now, instead of basing an objection to a two month extension to the payroll tax upon some trumped up challenge it supposedly represents to those who are so lethargic they find breathing a challenge, why not base it upon the insidious reality it represents?

That being what? Well, in my view, the passage of this two month extension is yet another in a long string of panaceas congress has shown an affinity for; bills that stall the inevitable and serve as nothing more than "time outs" as opposed to solutions.

We keep replaying these pissing contests, and each time we do the people of this country suffer; and usually the ones doing the suffering are the ones who can afford additional pain the least.

Congress wastes no time in pandering to the wealthy and corporations in this country, passing legislation in their favor in record time. But when it comes to the average citizens welfare, happiness, and livelihoods, they continue to hold them hostage each and every time! They passed the tax cuts for the wealthy but when it comes to the rest of us they want to hem and haw around and toss us a 2 month holiday. What do you think is going to happen when those two months expire?

The repugnicans have shown their true colors this time around, and they'll do it again when this extension expires. In the last 2 years they have held the least among us hostage to their political ideals and posturing, while simultaneously drooling over the wealthy and kissing their backsides. If it weren't for the leadership of the sitting POTUS they would still be pissing and moaning over this latest panacea as if it were a global tragedy to make the extension; and they will do so again before the spring arrives.  And that will be the last nail in their coffins.

Holding the least among us hostage while pandering to the rich, seems to be the true agenda of the repugnican party in this nation; and it will be the root cause of their abject failure in the next election.
They just stepped in it with both feet and got covered in excrement. If they take up where they left off in the coming year, stick a fork in 'em cause they'll be done.

and I am quite certain that the democrats are NOT tying to be honorable and help the least of us any more than you think repubs are.
This whole payroll tax is NOT a tax cut, it is just taking money that is SUPPOSED to go to SS ouot of your paycheck....it is only creating a bigger mess to fix.
Congress SUCKS!  We need leadership!

I have NEVER been more passionate with my beliefs than ever in my life.
We need conservatism........no propaganda.  The repubs are failing, but even at that, it is still better than this "progressive" movement that is edging closer and closer toa EU style socialism....that is clearly failing.
