Got a question, 150,000 manufacturing plants left the United States since the year of 2000.  Just think 158,000 plants left the country to China, Mexico, Canada and many foreign countries.  This is because of the free trade treaties of NAFTA, WTO and many other third world states.

Now many of you think this economy it the fault of Obama.  There is a lot of people here on the zone that never post a thing.  Any or you got anything to say about it.

Henerey Hawk, have you heard Boner's jobs plan.  Cut taxes for the rich and corporations.  Do away with all regulation on all business and corporation and the super rich. :gha:

It sure sounds like a fine plan for something worse than another Hoover depression.  I sure hope that the American people can see through the cloud of bull shit the Tea/Republican party has planned for America middle class and poor and down trodden people that has been put in poverty by the Tea/Republican Party.   :@#%&: :jester:

And just what the hell do you know about "what is RIGHT for this country"?  Or, did you mean let's move even more toward (RIGHT) the Socialist Democratic program you support (they were known as Nazi's in WWII Germany)? Those folks had strong ties to church, patriotism and corporate wealth.  That pretty much sums up your approach, but just for grins; let's hear what you think is RIGHT for the country.

Troll, when will you learn, first of all, I NEVER answer questions or anything from Dan...secondly, I have told you over and over...let's get a "fair tax" system in here, and quit with this current crap...it would restore our economy. I'm also not saying we need to cut all regulations...we just need to be more practical and reasonable....

Why don't you answer the questions from Dan, I think it would be easy for you Hawk.  The Fair Tax system your are talking about is all directed to the Super Rich.  Just Goggle it, the damn thing is a rip off for the rich not the middle class and you can't see it.

LMAO!  Really?  In what school?

Not everyone has to go to school to study something.....some of us like to read and talk to those who have a great understanding of what is going on....

Really?  Which books on macroeconomics have you read and who are these people with such great understanding?  I'm guessing the only people you talk about such things with are those with whom you share your warped perspective of how it all works because you clearly aren't open minded enough to actually learn something on the subject that differs with you preconceived notions.

take a quick look in the mirror Ex....YOU seem to be the one who is not open minded.  I admit I am soundly set on certain ideas....but, I do not rule out other ideas that make sense.

Raising taxes, during a time of economic crisis is pretty simple to figure that it is not a good thing....the fair tax, is pretty easy to understand and has pro's and con's...but the pro's out number the con's....in my opinion.

That is all I am doing on this forum......suggesting my opinions.....you have yours, and you have yet to prove yours have any bearing without being insulting..so, I don't waste time with you.  If you want to approach this in a reasonable fashion and prove that the fair tax is a bad thing, then I will listen to you.

The difference between us, Henry, is that I did actually study these things...in school.

QuoteI admit I am soundly set on certain ideas....but, I do not rule out other ideas that make sense.

You might try using that line on someone who hasn't seen you ramble on for years on subjects about which you know basically nothing.

QuoteRaising taxes, during a time of economic crisis is pretty simple to figure that it is not a good thing....

Raising taxes on a small group of people who aren't spending the majority of their money anyway won't hurt the economy at all.  Using that money to lower taxes on the people that will spend that money will absolutely help it, though!  That's what's easy to understand.

but that is not thier intention to do this.........they want to continue to spend, spend and spend.  NOT one person has said, IF, We raise taxes on the Millionaires we will lower the taxes on the Middle Class.............show me where that is the intention.

Two wars, an unfunded drug plan and give a tax cut too the riches people in the country.  You want to cut taxes and cut cost.  What I don't see where your plan will work in a real world.  Hawk
