OMG!!! You missed it or choose to ignore that that apparently those facilities weren't providing those services to low income women or there wouldn't have been a need for Planned Parenthood to begin with. It's called history and easy enough to google and read. Has that need diminished in the past 20 years? I doubt it. As for abortions, other clinics offer those too.

This wasn't directed at me, but I'd like to answer this. I have a young teenage daughter. I've spoken to her about sex to include safe sex. I've provided books written on her level regarding the topic. I've encouraged sex education classes in the school and have taken her to educational programs sponsored by our health insurance. She knows that I'd prefer if she waits, but when it gets down to it, it will be her decision. She knows how and has the means to protect herself, but again, that will be her decision. If she becomes pregnant, then we will have a refresher course in her options. We will weight the pros and cons of each decision, but her decision will be hers. I will support her in whatever decision she makes. I am pro choice and I would prefer that she not have an abortion, however I recognize that the decision is hers. I wouldn't encourage/pressure her either way, just give her the facts.

So she doesn't have a choice? Just get rid of the problem, what if she wanted the baby, would you kick her out if the baby was other than white? What if your son got some girl pregnant, not believe her or avoid any contact with the child? For the record, I don't have a problem with planned parenthood and I think everyone has the right to decide. I do hope they consider all their options because an abortion can't be undone and like all things that are final should be thought about carefully before they are done.

I am now helping take care of my mother in law who has Huntington's disease. I volunteer my time in my county responding and helping with accidents, disasters or other such problems. I have taken under privileged children out Christmas shopping. I have donated my business services and items for fund raisers for the sick or under privileged. Can you say the same??
