Where are those promises listed?  All I remember them having said was that it was necessary to prevent a catastrophic economic meltdown which I'm pretty sure it did.

A possible economic melt down which also may not have occurred.  No one really knows for sure if one would have occurred or not it was only a possibility.   The only thing we can say for sure is that the unemployment which was only supposed to go to 8% if we had the stimulus is now over 9% and projected to go higher.  Quit going over what might have been and concentrate on what is going on now.

  How about this one Henry.  Tho they must report what they make, their incomes.  Corporations and businesswill pay no taxes.  But they will not get any deductions for anything.   Only the people that will pay taxes, is on their income and what they pay themselves.  Also if the go out of business of leave their business.  They pay taxes on what they leave with.  No deductions.   Also the stock holders will pay taxes on their dividends and  stock profits.

  This probably is not enough, you will want us and the government to pay them a tribute for just for being in America.

well you would be wrong then, I was NEVER in favor of giving BILLIONS to banks, especially without strings attached....Bush did plenty of things that I never supported him on.....he was NO conservative by any means.

what is wrong with redirecting some of the stimulus money to the unemployment extension......that is all the repubs want, is to not spend MORE money that is not accounted for....to offset the cost......THAT is the right thing to do for ALL Americans...it is common sense.

  I want to ask one question from everyone.  How can 46 supposedly American adult men sign a statement that they will vote NO on every single bill until they get a 3%, just a 3% tax hike on the top 3% of the riches people in America.

  Then vote no to stop help for the people who helped in the 9/11 disaster, helping the unemployed and deadlock the government.  To me they are just evil men and don't give a damn about our country.  They are just plain evil.
