Americans have spoken!!!

Yeah, you can't fix stupid.  Now lets see all of the smoke and mirrors and magic the Republicans pull to get America out of the depression they put us in.

But, your Teabagger Party didn't do all that well, did it?  Harry Reid is back :rotfl: :rotfl:  and Christine O'Donnell turned out to be a witch and didn't win.  I sure called those two elections.

But I will predict, the next two years the Republicans will turn Washington into the biggest circus in the world.  Because the Republican elected the largest group of clowns ever.  I really hope Rand Paul and a few other nuts shut down Washington for a while.

And Indiana, just mark us off.  After the election is over all of the crap you Republicans have been hiding about how bad the Indiana economy really is and the debts that Our Man Mitch has built up, it will be just another bad year for Indiana.

Talk about change and bringing back truth and freedom to Indiana.  You elect Dan Coats, old time politician, who has lived in Washington for years and years and made millions and millions of dollars as a lobbyist.  Once again, tell me about change.

I agree Troll. Locally we put another jackass jack-booted thug back into office as prosecutor, and let several of the current crooks stay in office!  About the only thing we did right here in Madison county was to tell the school thieves that the purse strings are shut tight and they'll have to live within the current budget.

I find it horrifying to see how the people of Indiana let another fox back into the henhouse, with its election of Coats, and in electing Rand Paul the people of Kentucky have done the same.

The house elections only serve to assure even more gridlock in government and more of the same old bullshit. Even less will get accomplished as these new reps run about trying to obtain a "do over" on healthcare reform for the next 2 years. . .

So, these people were all or mostly incumbents? That doesn't even pass the common-sense test. If the Republicans, teabaggers and Democrats are so unhappy with the way government is working, why did they allow this to happen? One thing for sure, it pretty much negates the teabagger's message. How can you cry for something different and then vote for the same?

Republicans gained 60 seats in the house, taking control of it. They only gained 3 seats in the senate.

Yes our local elections were as retarded as ever, letting incumbents stay the course, and where change was initiated, they elected crooks (prosecutor) and cronies! Statewide we put a former senator and lobbyist back into office as a senator too with Dan Coats.

All this ensures is that more gridlock is going to take place, and more people's money is going to be used for purposes other than fixing the problems in this nation. . .

But, you know what? Once these sheeple see how bad it is going to get now, they'll be more inclined to vote democratic come the 2012 elections! Provided of course there is still a country to run. . .

Okay, I have been pretty quite most of this election season....and I am going to through my 2 cents in, and leave it at that...but, this is a CLEAR case of Americans telling Washington (and Obama) we don't like the way we are heading and the leadership that we have is not cutting the mustard.  We just fired Nancy Pelosi, and nearly fired Reid, with a "teabager" (as troll puts it) who was a nobody...

No party has gained more than 55 seats in the House since 1932....THAT is smacks the democrat controlled congress right in the smacker....America WANT's this Hope and Change that was PROMISED.

Now, with THAT said, the republicans need to produce.  I think you will NOW see the stock market grow again, because NOW, consumer confidence will be somewhat restored with the threat of the Bush Tax Cuts expiring....thus, this will produce MORE jobs, and a stronger economy.  Pretty much "common sense"!  THAT is all that is lacking in Washington, and will now have some potential of returning.  Putting the brakes on the ludicrious Health Care Bill, that NOBODY seemed to fully understand exactly WHAT was in it, or HOW it was going to effect the average blue collar worker.  Spending MUST stop, or republicans will be looking for jobs in two years.

As far as Indiana, I could not be more happy.  Now, property taxes WILL be capped and controlled, that should make MANY Hoosiers happy.  I am willing to say that NOW, we WILL see some real growth in our State.  Like I have been saying all along, TIME will TELL the truth here.

I say, THIS is the best thing to happen to our Country in quite some time.....I say NOW, we start the healing.  If it doesn't then the democrats will have the final say in 2012.

but for now, I am breathing much easier than I was just a few hours ago.  AND I am PROUD of America!

Now you want to put a little money where your mouth is.  Like a $100 to make it easy on you.

I say nothing will be done about, as you call it Obama Care.  Anything the Republicans come up with will not pass.

There will be no perminate tax cuts for the rich.

There will be no great surge in new jobs created.

There will be no great surge in the stock market.

But there will be a lot of trouble caused by the Republicans with phony investigations.

All you will see is bulling, bluffing, lying and the walking in lockstep Republicans saying NO on everything.

I don't gamble my hard earned money.  I work too hard for it.  I don't trust ANY political group THAT much either.  BUT, big guy, let's just sit back and watch what happens.  I will be first to say that these new repubs SUCK, if they don't stick to what they are promising.  The dems lied to us, flat out, lied to us.  Hope and change my ass!!!  Remember it was the Democrats that said would lead "the most honest, most open, most ethical Congress in history."..."Pay as you go"....."No, new deficit spending"...the was NOT going "burden Americans with no new debt"...it was ALL of THEIR promises.  THEY FAILED....

I predict there WILL be a surge in the stock market....there will be an increase in the job market....because of conservative leadership.

I agree with one point. There's no hope and there won't be any change because there won't be any progress. It's going to be at least 2 more years of the same old crap. It's not an Obama issue, it's a partisanship issue.

OK fellow American Hawk, we'll set back and watch.  But, just one time, just one time I would like to see the people in Washington who are our leaders work together for the best interest of the people.  Building  the middle class.  Because if we have a healthy, working, happy middle class, all of the people in America will live better.

If don't have a well off middle class group of people, we just have another Mexico.  You elected Republicans to lead us and there is nothing I can do about it but hope they will change their negative ways.

Troll, I want NOTHING more than these guys to work out something, for the best interest of the people....and I think, we NOW have that opportunty.  Before it was strictly going to be Obama's way.  America clearly didn't want that, and after last night, we now have a decent mix of Americans...there is NO excuses, there HAS to be some compromise, some give and take....but IF we don't get it right, I think we will continue to see this "tea party" movement until we get it right.

just my opinion.

Careful, that is exactly the feeling many Americans had when Obama won. It was a false sense of hope that congress will change. They didn't, and apparently neither did "we the people".

I agree that it is indeed historic and should send a clear message. . . but history shows "we the people" and the elected officials speak a very different language. Where the rubber used to hit the road was in voting. Now, it is in campaign funding and the "people" have lost their voices in this arena.

I am more of a skeptic in this arena. These tax cuts were and are in effect since before this dive transpired. Nothing will change in this area is my prediction, regardless of whether the tax cuts are extended or allowed to expire. It has little to no impact upn the job market in the bigger picture. People who have money are holding onto it. People who don't have it are about to be fed to the lions. It is indeed pretty simple.

And now, unlike yesterday, property taxes are included within the Indiana constitution and are now an integral component of it. All that is needed now is an amendment to increase them!

I am happy for you. But there are 20 million Americans about to be fed to the lions by the gridlock in congress. From my perspective things look very grim indeed, and there is very little hope of changing the gridlock now. It will be more of the same, only over the next two years it will be as if they are on steroids. . .

Henry, it has never been "Obama's way". If that's what the American people think then I think we need special education programs in addition to a high school education which will teach them how American government works.

Sandy, with all due respect, I think it has been THAT kind of condescending attitude that has caused this stale mate, and inability to accomplish any 'good' for America.  I think the American people ARE sharp and no exactly what is going on, hence why the drastic, historical election we just had.  I truly believe that Obama and party, tried to ramshot an agenda that America clearly did not want.  Democrats used the tactic that republicans was sandbagging, and be obstructionists, but the reality of it all, was reinforced yesterday.  The republicans did exactly what the American people wanted, and they rewarded the conservatives with their support.  This is clearly the way I see it.  I am not trying to be arrogant or disrespectful to those on the left.  Just the way it is.
