Bob is a very good name for someone who is dyslexic since it is the same spelled backwards as it is forwards. My Aunt Lucretia suffers from dyslexia so she goes by her middle name, Anna, and uses it when she signs all important papers. There aren't a whole lot of names that work this way. Cousin Dud (his real name is Dudley) isn't dyslexic, at least we don't think so, but he can't read nor write so he signs papers with an "X". But Dud knows numbers real good so when he writes a check he fills the amount in and signs with his X then hands it over. While this may seem odd to some, it is common around Martin County because a lot of the Amish do the same thing. Dud has problems when he goes to one of those real fancy retail stores like Home Depot though, many times they refuse to take his checks. Weird huh?
