Wonder why they just talk about the filibusters instead of showing them on TV, well sinppits of them at any rate.  I mean wouldn't that be news worthy to see someone standing there talking gibberish for hours on end?  Could it be there really are no filibusters happening it's just being used as an excuse as to why they can't get anything done?

For the same reason the conservative media refuses to televise anything connected to congress; the POTUS WANTS them to so every single person in the country can see how these morons are obstructing progress!

None-the-less, the record speaks for itself and the current initiative of republicans to interject their individual will upon the people of this great country by refusing to do their duty and nurture progress, clearly demonstrates their commitment to obstructionist politics!

They do not care!

That is merely a mater of perspective.  I for one, do not want many of the bills that are being introduced to become law.  Why should a republican simply go along with a bill that they do not agree with, and especially when the potus and the dems are not willing to compromise, even to the point of lockin out repubs such as during the HC bill.  What you see as "obstructionist", I see as my elected leader doing his job, by not allowing strong hearted liberal bills from passing.  I say it is time for Obama to starte being the leader he claimed he was going to be, and reach across the aisle, and gettin work done.  Reagan was an example of a leader who was able to achieve success with the left in control of congress.

I care greatly to what is going on, and am proud of the excitement that is being generated for this next election.

That old russian proverb is applicable to this statement.

How many times must a man ask for help, or extend an offer before it becomes an exercise in futility?

What you see as helpful is in reality destructive to this country. It perpetuates the misery of those least able to endure it, and assures those presently most able to endure it of doing so. It helps those who do not need it and refuses the same to those who need it most.

So instead of asking why the Republicans wouldn't "believe in" incentives which support small business, you defend them. Typical.

Gee-zus! You don't even read you own sources!

The 111th Congress again broke the record for the number of filibusters in a session, passing one-hundred cloture votes in the first eleven months.[30]

As for your suggestion that it would "be news worthy to see someone standing there talking gibberish for hours on end," I believe you missed this point, as well -- also from your own source:

In the modern filibuster, the senators trying to block a vote do not have to hold the floor and continue to speak as long as there is a quorum, although the Senate Majority Leader may require an actual traditional filibuster if he or she so chooses.[23]

PH? Sandy? What's the point of teaching them to google, if I also have to teach them to read?

I'm not asking you to explain the filibuster threat against "many of the bills that are being introduced to become law." Just this one.

...a Democratic bill that would give companies tax incentives to keep jobs at home rather than outsource them abroad stands little chance of getting a Senate vote because of a Republican filibuster.

C'mon, Henry. Explain to me how encouraging companies not to outsource overseas needs to go down in flames.

Lolly you wasting you time.  No answers will come, that will make sense to a middle class person.

Henry has lost his sense of creditability to me.  His life has been blessed.  Raised in a GM blue collar family who had the income to give him a college education.  He has been given chances that other people would die for.  He has lose his middle class roots.

He would rather see this country reduced to economic rubble and see president Obama defeated, impeached and a thrown out of office.  Than see his Republican Party work together with the Democrat to make this country work.  I won't believe anything he has to say, even if his tongue was notarized.

I went to a Doctor today after I was there for a while, I asked him what he thought of single payer health care for the people.  He said he was against it.  I ask him why, He said it would cut his income more than half and increase his work hours.  He admitted it was only because of the money issue.  That the way it always been with the Republicans, it always about money and power.

The Troll

ARE THE REPUBLICANS REALLY FOR CUTTING TAXES?

Today the Republicans turned down a bill to give business a 2 year tax cuts for hiring American workers instead of sending the jobs out of the country and overseas.  Just what is this Republican bullshit.

It's called obstructionist politics! They are so blinded by their hatred of the present administration that they will cut their nose off to spite their face! AND in typical conservative trickle down fashion, the sheeple are also blinded!

And true to their historic and current messages of hatred, the present political propaganda littering our mailboxes and the airwaves of the media encompasses messages of hatred toward the current POTUS!

I have a newsflash for these idiots: IF you intend to obtain the attention of the thinking public you should stop this tactic now. I see the hatred, I trash the propaganda, or changed the channel, after first taking note of whom it is supposedly endorsing. That way I know who to ignore in the elections!

Such people are not part of the solution, but rather the problem itself personified!

Try dislike for the current speaker of the house and her cohorts.  I get very little  email expressing a dislike for Obama and nothing that could be considered actual "hate" email or propaganda email.  All the hate speech I've witnessed has came from the left about people who disagree with anything the current administration is doing.  You can deny it all you want but if you will open your eyes and ears you too will start seeing it.

So, you decided to duck answering my question? Especially since you didn't read your own link, which supported my position -- not yours?
