Since I'm relatively new here, could you show me these doctored photos of conservatives?  And were they doctored to purposely attack someone running for office or one of their supporters? (Like the one of Franken) You've been around here much longer, I'm sure you'll be able to find them quickly. Help out a fellow Zoner.  TIA!

She won't because she can't.  It's also hysterical that someone who was so offended by Oprah having said that racists need to die is now telling someone else to go to their safe space with their teddy bear.  These people need a boot shampoo.
Arguing with Christians is like playing chess with a pigeon.  No matter how good I am at chess, the pigeon is just going to knock over the pieces, shit on the board and strut around like it's victorious.

The truth is slow, but relentless. Over time it becomes irresistible.

Not offended I just think it's cruel to wish harm to others is all. There is racism toward whites from blacks too so why didn't she wish death on them?

Because this nation has been engaged in the persecution and oppression of those of color for 241 years and counting. . . Millions have died over it, and continue to die over it each and every day in this country. Moreover, it appears that now our government is not satisfied with just imposing such a fate just upon those of color, but now is subjecting middle aged and elderly white America to the same via its pandering to corporate America and the SCOTUS's idiotic decisions that support the initiative.

And just how did you arrive at that conclusion? That does not excuse what Oprah said in the least. She was wrong to have said it and should be ashamed of herself.

There's no need to excuse her statement.

. . .The spike in mortality rates started in the Southwest but has now spread across the country, affecting both cities and rural areas as well as men and women.

"Ultimately, we see our story as about the collapse of the white, high school educated, working class after its heyday in the early 1970s, and the pathologies that accompany that decline," they wrote in a paper published by The Brookings Institution.

While low wages and limited job opportunities are factors, the economists stress that the fundamental causes for rising death rates for less educated whites are globalization and automation. . . .

http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/nationworld/ct-white-working-class-deaths-of-despair-20170324-story.html
. . sobering portrait of less-educated middle-age white Americans emerged Thursday with new research showing them dying disproportionately from what one expert calls "deaths of despair" — suicides, drug overdoses and alcohol-related diseases.

The new paper by two Princeton University economists, Anne Case and Angus Deaton, concludes that the trend is driven by the loss of steady middle-income jobs for those with a high school diploma or less.. . .

http://www.marketwatch.com/story/theres-been-a-surge-of-deaths-among-white-middle-aged-americans-2017-03-23
. . .The mortality rate for white Americans with no more than a high school diploma was about 30% lower than the rate of black Americans in 1999 — but in 2015, it was 30% higher, according to a new paper by Washington, D.C.-based nonprofit public policy organization The Brookings Institution. There was no particular state hit hardest by the mortality rate, and both men and women were equally affected. . .

http://www.cnn.com/2017/03/23/health/deaths-despair-mortality-opioids-economy-study/
. . .However, the Princeton researchers say that the uptick in "deaths of despair" is now countrywide, in both urban and rural areas, even if it didn't start out so widespread. The trend can be traced back to the Southwest in 2000, after which it spread to Florida, Appalachia and the West Coast a few years later. . .

http://www.npr.org/sections/health-shots/2017/03/23/521083335/the-forces-driving-middle-aged-white-peoples-deaths-of-despair
. . .In a follow-up to their groundbreaking 2015 work, they say that a lack of steady, well-paying jobs for whites without college degrees has caused pain, distress and social dysfunction to build up over time. The mortality rate for that group, ages 45 to 54, increased by a half percent each year from 1999 to 2013. . .
. .Anne Case: These deaths of despair have been accompanied by reduced labor force participation, reduced marriage rates, increases in reports of poor health and poor mental health. So we are beginning to thread a story in that it's possible that [the trend is] consistent with the labor market collapsing for people with less than a college degree. In turn, those people are being less able to form stable marriages, and in turn that has effects on the kind of economic and social supports that people need in order to thrive.

In general, the longer you're in the labor force, the more you earn — in part because you understand your job better and you're more efficient at your job, you've had on-the-job training, you belong to a union, and so your wages go up with age. That's happened less and less the later and later you've been born and the later you enter this labor market. . .

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2017-03-23/white-working-class-death-rate-to-be-elevated-for-a-generation
. . ."Policies, even ones that successfully improve earnings and jobs, or redistribute income, will take many years to reverse the mortality and morbidity increase," Case and Deaton write in their paper. "Those in midlife now are likely to do much worse in old age than those currently older than 65.". . .

https://www.wsj.com/articles/death-rates-rise-for-wide-swath-of-white-adults-1490240740

The list goes on and on. I've been saying for over a decade that the growing pandering to corporate America by the US Government, our elected officials, and the SCOTUS are increasingly serving to drive down hourly wages, quality of life, and the ability to keep families under the roofs of homes they own and well fed. It appears we have now reached critical mass.

These were things that have been endured by people of color in this nation for decades, and are what drives people to acts of desperation. They fuel substance abuse, crime, and suicide; and now they are impacting white America at the very same rates. . .

And from what I have read in this new health care bill, we will go from bad to worse as health insurance becomes unaffordable for those that ARE working the meager jobs that are available. It will come down to medicine/treatments or food. . . And with premiums nearing a week to 7 days compensation each month, it is just a matter of time before this trend grows exponentially.

And you use a bunch of liberal leaning news sources for your info. Regardless, that's still no reason or excuse for what Oprah said.

Why would illegal's, immigrants, need voter registration cards? Are we encouraging non citizens to vote? Isn't that voter fraud?

This is essentially exactly what Ted Koppel said to Sean Hannity after Ted told him to his face that he and his ilk are bad for the country: "You have attracted people who are determined that ideology is more important than facts."

Sound familiar?

Aren't your ilk constantly saying you want immigrants to assimilate into our society?  The are providing those forms so that these people can become familiar with our system.  Inasmuch as it states very clearly on that form itself that you must be a U.S. citizen in order to vote, maybe their goal is actually encourage them to work toward becoming citizens?  Is that a bad thing?

QuoteIsn't that voter fraud?

There have been exactly four verified instances of voter fraud in the 2016 election and every one of them was by a Republican.
