Yes, really!  Clearly FISA could not have been authorizing the collection of cell phone records in 1978 because we didn't have cell phones in 1978.  Seems almost too obvious; huh?

And for the record, I don't necessarily disagree with collecting the type of information they are and wouldn't despite who is in the oval office.  Here's why...let's say that the Boston bombers had been part of a larger terrorist cell.  Once the authorities have one of their cell phones, doesn't it make sense to be able to query a central database to be able to establish with whom one of these people might have had frequent contact?

I am NOT disagreeing with you....I am ALL for our authorities keeping us safe.  Always have been.  My recent "rant" so to speak, is dealing with the level of distrust that this administration has created with instances occured by the IRS, AP, Benghazi and Fast and Furious....his inability to answer key questions to satisfy the press and citizens, is making him growingly distrustful.
