The Troll

There seems to be a misconception that corporations move production out of the country b/c it's cheaper. I don't think the solution is as simple as offering incentives such as tax breaks. The people who take their production out of the US are also avoiding regulation. Important regulation such as child labor laws, waste restrictions, etc.

How does our inport tax compare to that of other countries.

The main problem is Republican negotiated trade treaties.  NAFTA, WTO and several more.

Korean exported almost a million cars into the United States at Zero import tax.  Korea only let in 4000 American cars, mainly armored cars and armored limousines.  Why?  Korea has a 400% tariff on American cars.  Would you, if you were Korean pay $80,000 for an American car that is worth $20,000.  The Republicans with the help of lobbyist wrote these treaties and they are all this bad.

Read carefully and you will discover that tax breaks would not have prevented this. Whirlpool was this company's major customer. Whirlpool went to Mexico. Tax breaks wouldn't have stopped Whirlpool either. Indiana and Evansville gave Whirlpool enough breaks to start their own country. So now Fortis must close.

The news was especially bitter since yesterday's headlines included this one:

Jobless claims fall, wholesale prices up

There is no way in hell a American worker compete with $5 a day minimum wage of Mexico.  Or  $1.97 per hour  Chinese auto worker making Honda transmissions.

America hs become a slave economy like we were in the old days with cotton.  Only the slaves are out of the country.

A recent confrontation between New York Republican gubernatorial candidate Carl Paladino and a newspaper columnist illustrates the multimillionaire's brash and unpredictable nature, a political observer said.
"He's got to control himself," said Doug Muzzio, a professor of public policy at Baruch College in New York. "This guy wants to be the governor and is going to start beating up or having reporters hit? It's [got] a Tony Soprano-like quality to it.". . .

Now there's some real Christianity and family values right there!

He told the reporter, "I'll take you out", and right on camera too!

Tea anyone?

Number 1 he didn't do it.  Also have you ever noticed that the candidate with the most dirty linen seem to have to cover their ass more.  I say keep up the pressure.  If he can deal it out, he should be able to take it.  If the kitchen is too hot, quit cooking and get out.

If having my family scrutinized were this kind of problem, I would have sense enough not to run for public office. Public officials can have no expectation of privacy. Surely he knew that when he decided to run.

Now I'm not the brightest bulb in the package.  But Lolly do you think that if you have a personal maid for 9 years.  Do you think you would know she was an illegal alien.  I wonder how much the Billionaire bitch was paying her a year.  That is something everybody needs to know.  Come on Jerry Brown, find out and tell the public.

So in other words it's no holds barred for the dems as far as going after kids and families but the Republicans can't do the same because families and kids are off limits for them.  Also the dems can shove the press around and threaten them but the Republicans can't.  Hum, seems to be something wrong with this picture.

She was paying her $23 per hour.  What a shame she was using her and exploiting her for such lowly wages.

Just where did you get that information.  I just don't believe it.  $23 an hour, was that for an 8 hour shift, 12 hour shift or on call 24 hours per day.  Kissing a billionaires ass everyday.  Price less.

Oh, Republicans never pick on the kids.  What about the remarks Rush the drugster made about Chelsey Clinton, Jimmy Carters daughter Amy.  Way beyond being just cruel.  You Republican have more skeletons in your closets than Fibber McGee had junk in his closet.  Just don't open the door.

Also I don't know of any Democrat that has pushed or threatened and newswpaper reporter, like the Republican did yesterday, threatened him on TV.  His hired thugs would have taken him out if it wasn't for the cameras.

You guys sure can put it out, but you sure can't take it.

Just what I would expect from you Troll.  One sided and nasty natured.   The Clinton's are the ones who made families and kids off limits.

It sure didn't stop Rush and Newt and their smart remarks about the kids.  How can I be anything but one sided.  With what the Republicans are now pulling.  Give me a break.

Hey, I have no problem in pimp slapping anyone that gets in my face and is unwanted or unwelcome, and I don't see why any individual wouldn't treat the press the same damned way.
