Hum, guess you're in a permanent blissful state then huh?

You don't see me defending the Republican Party for all of the destruction they have done to this country and are trying to do some more now, with their NO, NO, NO, style of government.

And you definitely don't see me defending the  employee busting and the company that is destroying the  American manufacturing businesses, WALMART.  :trustme:

Ooooo big bad Wal-Mart......Ya know what, Wally world isn't doing a thing to anyone but being there and offering people a choice.  I don't happen to like Wally world but that is my choice and the people that shop there probably weren't patronizing the mom and pop shops that everyone is saying they're putting out of business either because they were in all likely hood going to K-Mart or Target since they too are cheaper than the average mom and pop store. Why just pick on Wally world when most of the discount stores, Target, K-Mart, and Meijer, are the same as far as hiring, pay, employee hours, and merchandise?   In fact I know people who went to Wally world from K-Mart and liked conditions at Wally world much better.  No, they aren't friends just people I got to know who worked at the K-Mart I went to all the time who went to Wally world when the K-Mart they worked at closed. I don't want to hear more about the big bad Wally world I want to know why they are the only ones picked on.

All of the big box stores are bad when it come to the treatment of their employees.  I don't know of any hourly people, personally, who retired from Walmart.  I did see where the last CEO retired with millions of dollars.  But, I know or three hourly people who retired from Meijers.  One man who worked in maintainace, one woman who worked in accounting and who worked in the bakery and as pastry and bread baker.  I meet them all in a RV Park in Florida when we went down there for the winter.  The people sure didn't complain about what they were getting in retirement.

How many hourly employees do you know, that retired from Walmart.

Why do they pick on Walmart.  IT'S THEIR RECORD OF LAWSUITS FOR EMPLOYEE MALTREATMENT.  And the lawsuits the employes won.  Millions of dollars over the years.

Why don't you just Goggle in "people who hate walmart"  read it for a change, then defend  them.

The only thing I found was a union generated piece of crap and I don't take it to be entirely accurate.  You could probably find things like that about most any company.  Even though I don't like Wally world I just can't imaging them being any worse than other companies and deserving of so much more controversy.  I'm not actually trying to defend them here just trying to figure out what is behind the thought processes on their seeming to be the ones taking all the heat. Could it be that they employ more people therefore are more attractive to unionize because of the money that could be generated for a union?

Being at the top of the heap in annual revenue generated brings increased scrutiny from everyone, and not necessarily in an effort to dig up dirt. The competition wants to know and understand the top entities "best practices" and try to incorporate them into their own business operations.

The problem is, just as in politics, if they've got any dirty little secrets or skeletons in the closet they'll be brought out into the light of day. Wally World has made a lot of mistakes in the past, and this latest allegation should come as no surprise to anyone. How else do you think they can maintain those "price rollbacks"? In order to do it someone is getting screwed somewhere else; whether it is the employees or the customers doesn't matter to them. Just so long as they can make up the lost revenue.

Take Astra Zeneca for example. Found guilty of conducting illegal marketing of a drug in the United States, they have just been ordered to pay a 520 million dollar fine for the infraction. (They posted  5 billion in profits from this same initiative, so paying back 10% of the gross to obtain a 4.5 billion dollar profit is a real bargain).

I just can't believe you actually went to the site, "people who hate Walmart.  I couldn't find any UNION  GENERATED SITE.  With your, all truthful self, would you point out which site are union generated.  As it is, with you in everything you say is....
