i think that is a good start.....I am in favor of fining the crap or even jailing those who hire illegals....I have no problem with that...

Quote from: me on April 27, 2010, 09:51:53 AMYa know what Troll, unions aren't the be all and end all of every business in the world. The woman I know who works in Muncie is a store manager and the one I know who works at the one in Fl works for a female manager so don't even try that "women can't advance" without a union crap if that's where you're goin' with that statement.

"ME", I have read all of you posts since I became a member of the Unknown Zone.  I want to tell you one thing, I WOULD NOT WANT TO WORK FOR YOU AS AN EMPLOYEE, WITHOUT THE PROTECTION OF AN UNION.  I just could not believe you and your friend would be kind bosses. :devil4:

Since I think that bird of a feather flock together and people who think a like, flock together, I wouldn't want to work for your two female friends who are managers at Walmart. :flap: :flap:

Have you ever asked how many employees your friend have let go and fired.  I'll bet they aren't virgins at firing people. Not if they work at Walmart. :blah: :blah:

You have live an union life.  With the pay and protection that a union provides.  Yet, you want the common worker to stand all alone against the Supercapitalist Corporations like Walmart. :owned:

I don't think you are a very fair person, when it come to the brotherhood of Man and Woman.  Somebody say Amen!

wal-mart managers are paid a bonus and that bonus is partially ratio ed to labor. The labor cost are cut by giving hard working single incomes cuts in hours, example. My wife worked 40 hours until x-mas, then her hours as was all the rest were cut to around 16-20. people were fired for any reason they could find. then they were denied unemployment. Corporations hire companies to fight unemployment claims.

"Me", just like I said in the other topic, you lived the union life.  Pay, job security and until your divorce, healthcare.

I also left out how Wal mart hires more people while they are cutting current employees hours. they did the same to me in 1986 when I worked in the Ware house.
And Sam Walton personally stated that we would get 40 hours a week if we signed an anti-union statement.

The bottom line to me is that every business cannot and should not be a union business. I would have had no problems at all signing an anti-union statement.

Wal Mart is in China, and to be there they had to unionize the store in China. They are still making a profit.

That would not be very wise. You would be selling your talents to the store on a unilateral basis with no guarantees. Unless the store would guarantee your job if you did so -- in writing, and with the conditions under which you would work.

And then, voila!! You have a one-person union contract.

We come full circle.
