The closest thing to a trip my daughter and I have taken alone was Vegas and it was totally so much fun! My son and I went to Florida alone once and it was fun too, but something about hanging out with the girls. Even when they're young.

There's a concert coming up, it'll be lil' Mojo's 1st concert ever and we are going with a friend of mine, and her two daughters.  GNO!

Oh her FIRST concert!  How KEWL!  My first concert was Aerosmith--the Rocks tour.  I won tix from a radio station and had to lie to the folks that I was babysitting cuz they never would have let me go!
You're a very awesome mom to let her go and go with!

I'll never forget Lil BEG's first concert with me - it was Shaina Twain. Lil BEG was about 8-ish (so it's been about 7 yrs or so) It was great!! We both sang and watched her perform. It was the best.

That same summer her dad took her to see Spice Girls. She loved that concert just as much. He was driving to the venue (without her knowing) and she said, "Daddy, that's where we saw Shania. I wish we could go see Spice Girls." Then he got off at the exit and he said her little face was priceless.
One thing is for sure, he may have not been the best husband, but he's the best dad a little girl could ever have. She's one lucky girl.

I had a great date yesterday. Mr Fishers took me to see the Indpls Indians at Victory Field. It was a picture perfect afternoon. I had never been to 'the Vic' but always wanted to go. We had a blast despite the Indians getting beat 1-13.

Mr. Fishers & I had an interesting dinner last night. We were asked out to P.F. Changs by his mom and step-dad (the millionaires). We then met up with a President of a bank that Mr. Fishers' step-dad does business with (and so do I!) and his date, whose dad owns a restaurant chain in Indy. So, it was a scoial and business dinner.
I felt like Julia Roberts in 'Pretty Woman' not knowing what was proper and what wasn't. Thank God I didn't have to debate on which fork to use. LOL

Mr Fisher's and I had another wonderful weekend.
I went with him to the KY Speedway, where he's a staff photographer. We shot (yep, they gave me a camera too - lol) practice and qualifying Friday and the the pre-race and race on Saturday. It was hot  :sweatdrop: but it didn't seem to matter. We were having a great time.  :smitten:
Yesterday after dinner (I made him my famous spaghetti  :eat: - which he dearly loves) he gave me a key to his condo. He told me that I welcome there anytime. Wasn't that sweet? And no  , I am not moving him with him. We are going to keep separate for a longer time.
Now I have a question.... do I or should I have a key made to my apartment for him? I think that's the right thing to do. I told him a while ago that he's more than welcome to come over anytime he wants. Hmmmm

Maybe not a good idea with a teenage daughter.  You wouldn't want him to walk in on her accidently when she thinks she's completely home alone.  Could cause some embarrassment on both sides.  My thinking though, because I have a bunch of girls.
Looks like I've come full circle.

I would discuss it with your daughter and see how she feels about it.  Remember, it's her home too.
And then you make the decision based on your level of comfort.  Good luck!

Well I'm back on Match.  I need some dating practice.  I have just told a guy that he was pushy and I didn't feel comfortable with him pushing me to call him.  Take a chill pill buddy.  I'll call you if I want and when I want!  Damn!

I had a date last night.  It went great.  We are going out again but haven't firmed up the date.  I'm very excited.  He was very nice, owns his own place, has a job!  I'm a little smitten right now!  :smitten:
