I will keep you posted. We are going out again Saturday evening.

We had another very nice date this weekend. He's a really nice guy. We are both guarded and don't want to get hurt again. I think that we are taking it at a nice pace...nothing too fast. We are just spending hours talking to each other and sharing our past and our future dreams with each other.
My only problem is that I don't think I fit in his world. I'm not at all like the ladies that are from the world in which he lives in. I feel like he's going beneath his status by dating me. He told me last night that I was being silly by even thinking that - but that's what I think and feel. He said that he wouldn't be with me if he wanted to be with a lady that had lesser qualities. Now that made me feel nice!
So it's still all good!

Cool, BEG.

Sounds like he's got your number...and no, he wouldn't be with you if he didn't think you were a confident woman.

The person that feels you don't fit in his world is yourself.

Gotta believe in you, lady.  ;)

Feeling like BEG does is what keeps me from going out on dates with most of the men I meet.   Oh and Jason too, he would be such a 3rd wheel if I tried.
Looks like I've come full circle.

Well, Mr. Fishers wants to come up to see me again tonight. I told him that we could go to the local rootbeer/hotdog stand for a dinner. He said 'ok'.
Alright this is gonna be the weirdest thing - sitting in his Lexus eating a hot dog and having a rootbeer. Maybe after tonight he'll realize what I'm talking about?!?! And then maybe not.

some people call stuff like that slumming. LOL   I'm just kidding.  I would love to be sitting in a car with someone eating a hot dog and having a root beer.  I've just found out I can pretty much go out with whoever I want, and there will be no third wheel.
Looks like I've come full circle.

Sunny

I've done worse in a Lexus. :o

(did I just say that out loud?)

I bet you have actually done "better"  LOL

That's exactly what I told him on Sunday.... I told him he was slumming and needed to get back to Fishers. He said that he likes what is in Anderson. So, we'll see...... I guess.

Anyway, sorry to read that you're able to go out without the 3rd wheel. btw... there's an available guy in Kokomo  who is looking to rescue a damsel in distress, IMO - not that you fit that cliche but he might think that you are. Dunno what he thinks anymore.... UGH!

No thanks.  I like him as a friend and nothing more.  I had my chance, remember?

I know, but second time around might just do it for ya.....

doubtful.  I don't think I want to date anyone at all. Going back to where I was this time last year.  Just focus on me and the kids.  Life can still be good without a man in it.  My mom's been doing it for years.

We (Mr Fishers & I) had another very nice date last night. We went out for wings and a pitcher of beer.  :food4:  We went back to my place and watched TV and talked. We have alot more in common than I thought.
He just called me and thanked me for the wonderful evening and asked me if I'd like to go out tonight.  So, tonight I'm headed to Fishers to meet him for a date.
Dating him is really nice. We laugh and cut-up like we are teenagers.  :dizzy2:  :rotfl: Maybe that's because we both have teenagers - LOL
I'm looking forward to a very nice weekend with him and meeting his kids on Sunday!

Very nice BEG!  Good for you!

My ex emailed and wanted to "do something" this weekend.  Um let me see...yeah I'm busy washing my hair!  Sunny - this is the ex you know!

Don't discount the fact he likes what is Anderson, because I do too. So much so my wife and I decided to build our new home in Anderson! We could have easily gone to Fishers or Carmel and built, but we (I) like it here too!
Every city/community that survives the long-haul goes through changes. Anderson is in the midst of changing. It upsets some folks, and others find it encouraging and exciting; you either roll with the changes and embrace them, or get run over by them. Your choice. . .
