Retirement, beats the crap out of working.  Film at eleven!
Don't fall into the nap trap though 'cause they can be habit forming.  It starts out with, "hum, think I just might take a nap," and is followed by, "hum, that nap felt pretty good yesterday I just might take one today too," and that begins an endless cycle....

I had been getting naps at work, now I don't find time for them.

Went to bed at 9 last night, my butt was dragging.

Things will slow down though and that's when the nap trap is most dangerous.

We are meeting with a Realtor this evening, to make an offer on a house.  :o
Nice little 3 bed, 2 bath ranch style, on one acre in the country, built in 1999, just west of Lebanon.  I will have room to add another garage in the near future.

Hadn't really planned on Boone county, but had not crossed it off the list either.  It has easy (10 minutes or less)  access to either I-65 or 74, making the wife's drive to work very smooth.  The house and property are what we were looking for, but was having a hard time finding east of Indy, and still be reasonably close to everything.  Living there will be uncharted territory for both of us, so it will be interesting.

We made a deal on the house, and should have possession after the first of November.  Now I just have to sell this one and all will be good.  No rush, but the sooner the better. ;D

I glad you are in no rush. I have never seen the housing sale this low, never.  My neighbor next door has had his house for sale for over a year.  He told my wife last week that he had one offer and they offered $10,000 less than he owes on it.

I know of 5 house here in my little town that have been for sale for over 2 years and they have dropped their prices so low I can't believe it.  Nobody has got any money or can't get credit.

Six months ago my friend bought a house here in town and three years ago it apraised for $98,000.  A three bed room Bedford stone house, it had been empty and foreclosed on for 2  years.  He bought it for $62,000 cash.  The bank sure loss it's ass on this one.

It's a proven fact that a 1/2 nap in the afternoon is beneficial to all people.  Also you need at least 8 hours to 9 hours of sleep a day is need.  America has a real sleep shortage and it causing problems.  So take your 1/2 hour nap, not more or you will have problems sleeping at night and quit worrying about it.  YOU'RE RETIRED!

Hot damn!!! We close on the "new" house Friday at 4 PM.  We will have possession no later than Nov 2, which just happens to be our 36th anniversary.

Congratulations Mr442, I hope you enjoy your new home. I see it is of recent construction so it should be well insulated and utility bills won't hit you too hard! I hope your new neighbors are as friendly and supportive as mine are. I will break out a bottle of my finest wine an make a toast to your good fortune. Since no one is here to help in this worthy celebration, I will forgo formalities and drink straight from the bottle.
