This is an interesting 360 degree panoramic video taken while driving through the streets of Port-au-Prince, Haiti.  The video is compelling, but the driver is a fuckin' maniac.  I'm surprised he didn't kill someone while shooting this.  Check out towards the end where he comes upon the traffic jam and starts hauling ass down the wrong side of the street in the face of oncoming traffic.

A 7.2 magnitude earthquake struck near the Pacific island of Vanuatu Thursday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
There were no immediate reports of damage or injuries.
The quake prompted the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center to issue a regional tsunami warning for Vanuatu, the Solomon Islands and New Caledonia.
"It is not known that a tsunami was generated," the Warning Center said in a bulletin. "This warning is based only on the earthquake evaluation. An earthquake of this size has the potential to generate a destructive tsunami that can strike coastlines in the region near the epicenter within minutes to hours."
A tsunami was not expected along the California, Oregon, Washington, British Columbia or Alaska coasts, the Warning Center said.

Lava and ash from Ecuador's Tungurahua volcano forced the closure of Guayaquil Airport until Saturday afternoon, an airport spokesman said Friday.
The glacier-capped, 16,478-foot (5,023-meter) volcano has erupted periodically since 1999, with major eruptions occurring in August 2006 and February 2008, the government's emergency management agency said.
Officials evacuated the towns of Cusua and Juive Grande in central Ecuador, the emergency agency said, but no injuries or fatalities had been reported. No further evacuations were planned, the agency said. . . .

It was the second volcanic eruption reported in Latin America in the past few days. The Pacaya volcano erupted Thursday in Guatemala, killing at least three people.

(CNN) -- A rapid Pacific submarine volcano eruption has exhaled a steam and ash cloud in the air and left a trail of debris on the surface of the water near Sarigan Island in the Northern Mariana Islands, U.S. officials said Monday.
Game McGimsey, a volcanologist for the U.S. Geological Survey, said the vent, lying 1,000 feet under the surface, issued a cloud 40,000 reaching feet in the air.
As a result, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service evacuated 16 people, mostly its scientists, from the Northern Islands off Saipan following the eruption, reported the Saipan Tribune. The area is U.S. territory. . .

  The gas line, I have not got to hear much on it, except they were working of it.  Knowing Murphy's law very well, I'll bet a back hoe caused it.  Just a half ass guess.

There were two of them, two days in a row. The first one was south-west of Dallas and it killed 2 or 3 people. There was a grass fire adjacent to it and the line exploded. . .

I've not heard a whole lot on the second one.
