agreed!!...THIS is what give you guys fuel to attack, the vast amounts of folks who are Christian, a bad name....and the sad thing is, I bet there will be a ton of Christians heading that way (as we speak) to help out..... with millions of $$$...and medical supplies and love..and this usually never gets any press....

HH, I have no doubt that there are Christian relief organizations, and many individual Christians all over the US, who are all seeking ways that they can help in this time of need.  Unfortunately, idiots like Robertson have a big mouth, a large microphone, and lots of followers.  It's unfortunate that his idiotic and asinine remarks receive the kind of attention and coverage that they do.

Yeah, all those stories about priests ripping out still-beating human hearts give the Aztecs a bad name too. Quetzalcoatl assures me that stuff is blown completely out of proportion.

However, regarding aid to Haiti -- it's on the move!

http://www.cnn.com/2010/WORLD/americas/01/13/haiti.aid.response/index.html

Netherlands, Iceland, Puerto Rico, Guyana, Brazil, Canada, Belize, Cuba, Morocco and France all had offered aid...World Health Organization personnel were planning to depart Thursday morning for Haiti,...Brazil's Ministry of Defense ordered its troops in the country to offer whatever assistance they can, Brazil's official news agency reported....China was preparing to send a 50-member rescue team, including three sniffer dogs, the official news agency Xinhua reported....Spain was sending three planeloads of aid...France, Haiti's former colonial ruler, dispatched two planeloads of rescue personnel...Russia was sending a mobile hospital with a staff of 45, including 20 doctors... and so on.

the thing you are missing is the vast majority...

You really need to stop using the phrase, "vast majority," when what you really mean is you.  You do not speak for the vast majority of Christians nor represent them.
Arguing with Christians is like playing chess with a pigeon.  No matter how good I am at chess, the pigeon is just going to knock over the pieces, shit on the board and strut around like it's victorious.

The truth is slow, but relentless. Over time it becomes irresistible.

And Rush weighs in by criticizing Obama's response to Haiti's crisis.

you may be right, that I should NOT, insinuate....but it is MY opinion, that it is the VAST Majority...I know and I  realize how many Christians, like myself, think and understand....and it is of my opinion....that there are far more who, have personal relationships with God and do not follow these goof-ball "leaders" for direction or understanding......

but it is JUST my opinion....as USUAL on here.....if I got a way to support it, I will attach it.

I think it's more like a "half-vast" majority. (Say that three times very fast.)

And Rush now says that the reason Obama is hurrying aid to Haiti is to bolster his credibility among black people.

Oh, and Rush also says that we already gave enough aid to Haiti through our income taxes.

Now there's a person who cares for his fellow man like Jesus taught us.

Rush is a fuckin' asshole.  That's just the bottom line.  Too bad he didn't croak out there in Hawaii.

He is so focused on condemning Obama that he will not give any credit to simple humanitarian aid. He rabidly must find a way for ANY news concerning Obama to be made to be negative.

At first I was fairly sure that he did it solely for ratings purposes, to cater to his drooling followers. With this latest spew, I'm becoming of the opinion that he really is lower than whale shit.

He still gives orders. It's just that nobody listens. There is a lesson here regarding dealing with self-important religious figures.

Sadly, the followers of Pat Robertson aren't smart enough to learn the lesson.
