speculation.....

Really?  BTW, since I'm sure you're no better at math than you are at English, I went ahead and did the calculation for you.  At a conservative average 30% tax rate, that's over $63 billion per year.

That's how we bring back the economy.  We all go bankrupt.  Screw the people who gave you credit.  Hell, the Republicans want to bankrupt and screw everybody.

Right now the have rich Republican walking away from their million dollar homes, which they could pay for, just because they are worth less than what they owe on them.  The true Republican way, if you can screw anyone out of money, SCREW THEM!  :007: :sneaky:   :toilet: :knife:

Back to yesterday's conversation, since the infrastructure cost for your family is less than you pay in taxes, you actually haven't lost shit.

You're right there should be no secret meetings.  But with the Republicans there would be no meeting if it wasn't secret. :lurker:  They don't want the people of American to know the shit they they are pulling. :sneaky:  I do got to say, your Republicans leaders are a shrewd, selfish, mean bunch of Son Of Bitches.  They are sure out to screw the poor old, retired, sick and the middle class citizens of the USA.  "ME" if I believed what you and Henry and the Republicans said about saving America, I would have to carry this sign every day.  :stupid2:

When I think back to your favorite president George W. and all of his secret meetings when he decided to go to war because God told him to.  Dick Cheney with his secret meetings with the oil executives just before oil prices went through the roof and would not go under oath when the questioned him on anything, pretty much tells you the Republicans love secrecy.  My little Jelly Bean.  Wouldn't be nice it they change their ways.  :007:  Yup, they want to send us down the :toilet: :trustme:
It's Obama that keeps caling for the closed door meetings not the Republicans and we are talking budget here not national security.  In fact we are talking a budget that should have been done 2yrs ago when the dems were in the majority. Quit trying to blame this on Bush and the Republicans that's getting real old.

I wish I could do what you want all of us to do, is forget George W. Bush.  I just can't.  Just think if we hadn't had George W. for 8 years, we wouldn't be going through the bad times we are having now.

I know you just like me, every time you think of him or hear me say his name, you get the foul taste in your mouth. :puke:

I know for one thing, for sure.  I didn't vote for him twice like you did.  Like with the :puke: you and Henry caused.

FACT! You do the math Henry. The fact is that the lion's share of those people would have been unemployed, and homeless by now by the way, and without means to support themselves or their families. At minimum, 1 million more homes would have gone into default, not to mention the money all of those families spend on groceries, gas, utilities, clothing, and other necessities that would have been instantly removed from the revenue streams of retailers.

Then there are all of the ancillary businesses that would have also gone under or at minimum drastically downsized, and the additional negative impacts to all of the above.

We loaned them the money to keep them in business and keep those families working. We didn't do it to own companies or make a profit. Had we not done so this country would be thousands of times worse off than it is. . . Especially since the private sector is hoarding their money and not creating jobs at the level the conservative theory would have them doing. . .

Had GM and Chrysler failed, ALL of this would have come to pass. Now, I've proven my perspective. Lets see some credible proof that yours is a theory that is proven to work? Something more than conservative talking head talking points.

AHEM! It's not national security? Really! So in your view when this country cannot pay its bills, cannot pay its employees, cannot pay its military, Homeland Security, FBI, National Guard, Coast Guard, and financially collapses, it is NOT about national security?

You really need to take those rose colored glasses off and stop drinking that sour mash grape juice!

There are things that are intrinsic to the day to day operation of this nation that you DO NOT want to know, let me assure you. If you did, you'd soil your underwear and never sleep. . . In fact, if you knew just what congress alone actually does, you'd need round the clock thorazine injections.

And when all of these government entities stop operations, and their employees go home, just how long do you think it will take for Mexico to try to take back Texas, Arizona, New Mexico? How long do you think it will take before those Russian Subs to begin launching and for foreign troops to begin massing off our shores? How long do you think the United States of America can exist?

first of all I have no "theory"...just a few thoughts...

you are assuming that had we not bailed them out....all would have been lost.  There is NO proof of that.

I'm not saying that we should NOT have bailed them out, by the way....I'm just pointing out the fact we don't know WHAT would have happened if we didn't.

if they get in trouble again do we just keep on bailing them out?

Maybe Ford becomes even stronger if that happens and employees more and more....

I just pointed out the loss we are on the verge of receiving...it is easy to say well we would have lost more IF.....but we don't know the IF....only speculation.

no talking points....just a "speculation".

Drive north on Scatterfield Road in Anderson, and explain to me how that doesn't prove that this would have happened!

So, it's okay to tax people to build a sports stadium that provides employment for multi millionaires, but NOT okay to use tax money to keep millions of American families gainfully employed?

(By the way, this is Chrysler's second trip to the plate).

Using your methodology, I'll say that the 14 billion dollar "loss" you are squawking about is not real, because it has not happened yet, and so it is speculation.
