:haha:  :haha:  :haha:  And she is one of the corner post and speaker for the present Republican/Tea Party.  :haha:  :haha:  :pink:  :pink:  :pink:

:chick: Henry, "ME" and Anne just love her.  :haha:  :haha:

Only in this case she was speaking in Indianapolis at the NRA convention.

This makes me even more leery of the NRA. Did they not learn anything from the GOP's FUBAR campaign and her involvement. Were they not watching over the ensuing 6 years as she created one public relations train wreck after another?

Are they that desperate that they are willing to scrape under the friggin barrel to obtain more members?

Un- be- fugging-lievable!  :spooked:

The most interesting thing I saw about the entire NRA convention was that one of the news channels - 6 IIRC - had a black reporter there and he interviewed a black attendee.  Now what was interesting about that was every time I caught coverage of the convention on any channel, I was specifically checking out the crowd being shown.  Not once did I see another black face in the crowds of attendees.

Now on the other hand, when the news showed coverage of the gun control and NRA protests, one half or so of the people involved were black.

I had to wonder how that reporter managed to find one of the few - I won't claim he was the only one - black folks attending that convention.

Things that make you go 'hmmmmmmmmmmmm'.

I work with a guy who is a Life Member of the NRA, and he is a bit off kilter. One of those guys that it isn't hard to imagine going over the edge one day if you know what I mean.

He sports an NRA Life Member belt buckle most days, and teaches handgun courses as well as the UTAH course.

I avoid him as much as possible!  :spooked:

I used to be a card carrying member of the NRA, but when they started getting REAL stupid and political, I dumped them and am now totally against them.  The NRA was once a collection of sporting enthusiasts but has suffered a hostile takeover the RW and their simple-minded, propaganda swallowing, sheep.

As was I. I still maintain that owning and knowing how to properly use a firearm is a basic necessity and a constitutionally protected right, but like you I found them to be draconian and flat out overzealous in their tactics and "battle plans".

Then there was the spamming of my snail mail box, looking for donations all of the time. I was over it in a real hurry once that crap started, and I dropped them and have avoided them ever since. Too many whacknutz and weekend warrior types fill their ranks these days.

I was a member of the NRA and I started to receive all kinds of pleas for money and of course all of the spamming in my mail box.      So the next time I paid my dues I put a false middle letter for my middle name.     Guess what, the NRA was selling my name and address to these spammers.     Last time I paid dues to the National Rifle Association.

"She'll weigh in on anything."

— "True Blood" actress Kristin Bauer van Straten on recent news that Sarah Palin declined an invitation to appear on HBO's vampire soap because of the show's negative portrayal of conservatives. Last week Palin told Breitbart News that the show wanted to "insult" her. In an episode that aired July 20, Bauer van Straten's character, a vampire named Pam, crashes a fundraiser for Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas). Speaking at Comic-Con International in San Diego on Saturday, Bauer van Straten said she'd had fun making Palin angry.

Now Sarah Palin is unveiling a new media channel, called, conveniently enough, the Sarah Palin Channel, where she promises to do away with the "filter" and really Listen to you. It costs $9.95 a month — or $99.95 a year.

This is going to be a lot of value. To put this in perspective, you can get a full year's Sunday subscription to The Washington Post — as well as unlimited access to our digital content — for about half that. It must be very expensive to remove the filter from all that news.

For the same price or cheaper, you can also:
* Subscribe to Netflix (just $7.99 a month for standard-definition!), which includes both "Orange Is the New Black," a show about women you are forced to spend time with even if you don't want to, AND "House of Cards," a show where sinister crony capitalists control government in an unrealistic way, and also other shows that are more fun. Many, many other shows.
* Become an Amazon Prime subscriber (Disclosure: Amazon chief executive Jeffrey P. Bezos owns The Post)
* Buy a friend a gift subscription to TheBlaze
* Receive e-mail forwards from your irate grandmother with the same exact pictures
* Not hear about Sarah Palin at all

Absolute bull$hit!!!!!

Here's the actual quote ...

"And we have to confer with the Qataris, who have told me over and over again that Hamas is a humanitarian organization. Maybe they could use their influence to ..."

At which point she was rudely interrupted with the question ""The U.S. thinks they're a terrorist organization though, correct? Do you?"

AND SHE AGREED!
