YES Fucking way I am RIGHT!!......the American DREAM is being squashed by the liberal left.  It was doing fine until it reared it's ugly head back in the 70's and has went down hill ever since....just look at Europe and Greece.......THEY are LIBERALS.

Yup, it's Obama fault for having all of those closed door meeting, but then the Republicans keep going.  Just think what would happen in the Republicans said YES once in awhile and worked for the poor, sick, old and the middle class one time.

Instead of worshiping at the feet of the super rich and the Mega Rich corporations.   Com'on "ME"  just one time saying YES in the last 2 years.

Quote from: me on July 12, 2011, 09:21:46 AM
Just how do you know for sure what the Republicans aren't saying yes to when everything is done behind closed doors?  If what is being done is so great for the population why isn't it being done out in the open?

Hell I'm no rocket scientist.  Who knows what these dumbass are talking about.  I know thing would be different if I was running the show.

First the Hedge fund managers who make billions a year would  pay salary taxes.  They sure wouldn't get by with paying 15% capital gain taxes on the billions of dollars of income.

Also Henery would shit in his nest, Hawk nest that is, if I could change the tax rates of the rich SOB's and the Mega Rich Corporations and all corporation welfare of all kinds and I do mean stop :stop: all welfare benefits to the rich SOB's, which means Trillions of $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$  They sure would lose the tax deduction of the jet plane :para:

I am against tax deductions and loopholes...THAT is why I am for the fair tax system...

but I do think we should suspend corp taxes for ONE - YEAR to jump start our economy then lower them to be lined up with the rest of the corp world tax rates....

To the Auto companies, it was not welfare, it was a loan and they have or are paying it back and hiring people and it is one of the best thing Obama did for America and the Auto Workers.  What a shame that your dad was one of those damn UAW Auto Workers.

Taxpayers to Lose $14B in Auto Bailout Funds

The Congressional Budget Office's latest estimate of the stock value indicates that out of the initial $80B, a $14B loss is expected. That figure rises when the value of the stocks decline. The Treasury Department reported that figure at $13.9B based on a March 31 stock price of $31.03. The Administration won't announce when it plans to sell the stock for fear of disrupting prices, and won't commit to selling at a target price.

General Motors stock price year-to-date has declined from a high of $38.98 on January 7 to its current price of $29.90.

Aren't you glad, you don't have to take care of him and your mother.  Which you would get out some way.  Damn that God Damn General Motors and all of those old damn retires sucking up all of your tax dollars.  :knife:

What kind of an answer is that?  Why would it take a rocket scientist to figure out the answer anyway?  The questions was:  If what he is doing is good for the population why won't Obama let the meetings be public instead of having them behind closed doors?

3296500 jobs were saved via the bailout of GM and Chrysler, according to The US BLS numbers. That means had we NOT done this there would be that many more unemployed people in this country,PLUS the resulting additional unemployed that would have resulted from supplier layoffs and closures.

The average hourly wage is 29.13/hr for auto manufacturing with an average of 42.8 hrs per employee each week.

You do the math and figure out the financial implications to the economy and this nation in NOT bailing them out. It will make that 14+ billion potential shortfall look like pocket change!

You wouldn't say that if it were a Republican president doing it now would you?  Why is this any different?  It's not like it's a top secret thing ya know.  This is something that should be out in the open not done in secret.  It gives the impression there is something rotten in Denmark with his "plan" and he's not wanting it made public.

You're right there should be no secret meetings.  But with the Republicans there would be no meeting if it wasn't secret. :lurker:  They don't want the people of American to know the shit they they are pulling. :sneaky:  I do got to say, your Republicans leaders are a shrewd, selfish, mean bunch of Son Of Bitches.  They are sure out to screw the poor old, retired, sick and the middle class citizens of the USA.  "ME" if I believed what you and Henry and the Republicans said about saving America, I would have to carry this sign every day.  :stupid2:

When I think back to your favorite president George W. and all of his secret meetings when he decided to go to war because God told him to.  Dick Cheney with his secret meetings with the oil executives just before oil prices went through the roof and would not go under oath when the questioned him on anything, pretty much tells you the Republicans love secrecy.  My little Jelly Bean.  Wouldn't be nice it they change their ways.  :007:  Yup, they want to send us down the :toilet: :trustme:
