Doesn't all that just prove she is pimping herself out for the conservatives, and thusly validating that she is indeed an:

Now, if you had watched the show you would know her dad said he did set the sight before they left when she told him it was off and he took the gun and tested it after they got back to camp and found she was right.  The shots did startle the animal and he jumped and looked around but they were out of sight.  If you watched the show you would remember they were in the open, landscape wise, but hidden and in the distance so the animal saw nothing out of the ordinary.   When she was handed the other rifle, which did kick unlike the first one which she preferred,  she hit it in the kill zone first shot out of that rifle. 

She is no more a media whore than anyone else who goes on camera or is in the public eye so quit with that already.  And Troll, as far as her freezer goes you don't know but what they also have a larger one.  We have a small one, a large one, and the one in our fridge so you can't judge a thing on the one you happened to see.   I don't imagine anyone in Alaska has just one small freezer. 

I'm sorry but I just don't understand the mentality of putting someone and their family down or calling them names just because they happen to disagree with them politically.  It is childish and non productive and serves no purpose whatsoever.   

   You may be right of freezer space.  I remember my grandmother had a refrigerator that set in the window.  In the winter she kept her milk and meat in it.  The back part sat outside and she has a sliding door on the in side.

  Hell, in Alaska 80% of the time, all you have to do is set your meat outside where the animals can't get and it will be frozen.     Right?

It was all for attention. If Kate really wanted to learn survival skills or hunting, then she wouldn't need to travel to Alaska to do it. She would ask someone a sight more qualified than Palin.

Kate wimped out.  Hell, she wouldn't even eat the food and made them take her back to civilization and the kids were having a ball.  Everyone, including Sarah, was gathering wood in the rain and Kate was under the canopy whining,  "I hate this, I've got 19 layers of cloths on and I'm freezing and I'm hungry".  She wouldn't eat anything they fixed.  And yes, you can have a fire in the rain if it's large and hot enough which theirs was.

You might want to try living in Alaska and being threatened by a pack of wolves before you judge on that one.  Sometimes those things are necessary it's not just killing for killing sake.  Not only that they might have been getting so large in numbers they were a threat to the animals that are needed to survive to use for food.
