On national TV every day and on the news constantly by reporters plus having her daughters ridiculed and made the butt of tasteless jokes? There is a slight difference between jokes and downright tasteless and crude. Clinton made the Presidents children off limits remember.  Palin handles the jokes and attacks on herself well it's the ones about her kids and family that she gets upset over as any mother would.

Her position and actions (she excoriates a democrat for a remark made in private, but gives her conservative republican buddy a pass for a public remark) suggest she is using just about anything to create a "fan base."

I am beginning to think she is in the same league with Coulter -- an attention whore who will say anything to try to sell books and become a media creation -- which is why she quit as governor in the first place.

Being governor was getting haaaaarrrrrrd and starting to catch up with her stupidity. She had to quit after she crapped in her nest, and she had to find a way to make money. Then, of course, she wrote a book and found that they didn't sell as well as she had hoped, so she bought bunches of them herself from other people's money. Fox, of course, jumped right up to capitalize on her 15 minutes of fame (it certainly wasn't her erudition they were seeking), and it gave her a place to improve her image by "protecting" her son.

And people wonder why I laugh at her every time I hear her speak.

I occasionally listen to his show just because he is a master of spin and he is making a zillion dollars duping what he has termed "the great unwashed." He laughs all the way to the bank. Only once in a while does he totally believe his own bullshiat.

I did not hear his comment or her explanation on giving him a pass but I'd bet it had something to do with the context of how it was done or how the word was used.

I say that because she sought out a fairly obscure private remark to base her case on, while ignoring public remarks by her buddy.
