Not true had said Dem espoused the same attitude that Prejean did.  Here's 'jes a lil' clue for ya'.

It isn't the Dems who are running around acting holier than thou, attempting to pander to the religious right, and attempting to legislate morality and discrimination while being guilty of their own depravities.

Here's an example:  Larry Craig the senator is the kind of person who drives people like Larry Craig the man into the bathroom stall.

If the difference continues to escape you, you're simply beyond hope.
Then there's good ole Barney Franks....."I don't know anything about plants and don't even know what marijuana looks like".   "I didn't know he was running a prostitute ring out of the basement".  Last I heard he was still in congress.

You're completely missing the point.

No I am not missing the point.  Why should anyone get a pass just because of their politics or seeming lack of religion?  It's a double standard any way you look at it.  Did not being religious excuse the things she was called by that nutjob that asked her the question in the first place? Should she have lied about her beliefs just to make that idiot happy?  She is not a monster just because she doesn't happen to believe in gay marriage and should not be having to put up with all the ridicule bashing she is having to deal with.

You are missing the point which can be summed up w/one word..."hypocrisy".

You have to be kidding, right?  She epitomizes the hypocrisy of your religion Hank.  She is a clueless dube, but for you, a helpless christian made out to be a victim, huh?  She's a moron and again, a perfect example of the American christian.

So you're saying if she weren't a Christian it would be fine in other words.  She would be smart and just a victim of circumstance.  What an attitude....  Oh no, wait she disagreed about gay marriage.....all good little non Christians agree with it so she must still be a moron 'cause she has a different opinion.....Well, I have a hot news flash.  I'm not a "Christian" and I don't believe in gay marriage, civil unions and the same rights, yes, but marriage, no.  There are Christian gay's that don't believe in gay marriage so why does that make Carrie a hypocrite?  It's like apples to oranges here.  If she's against smoking and don't agree with it but isn't against drinking is it hypocrisy to speak out about smoking but still drink?  She is against gay marriage not a man and a woman being together so where does the hypocrisy come in here?

Sorry, but you are way off.  First, I don't care if she is against gay marriage.  I am against christian marriage by the state, myself.  Why should gays want a christian marriage.  The state should not be involved, at all.  Civil Unions should be the only legally recognized social contract between two adults, nothing else.

As for MS Pre-Jeans (as in not putting them back on in her videos), she is a dumb shit that not only epitomizes the ignorance that is christianity, but of the stereotypical Blonde.  She claims to be a victim, but is just a moron and her 15s are up.

Yes! Yes! Yes! Finally somebody gets it! The only reason to have a "marriage" recognized by a government entity is to protect property and children of the union. Y'all can sacrifice chickens or jump over the broom or whatever your religion calls for if you like. Government shouldn't be involved in that at all (remember that separation of church & state clause?), but the contract must be signed to legalize the partnership -- just like LLP's and corporations. If the two of you don't plan to buy a house (or accumulate other joint assets) or have kids, there is no reason for the contract. But why can't you perform any hocus pocus you like to formally declare your commitment?

Ya'll are going in circles and using the same old dead arguments and put downs that you're hearing on the MSM.  She was not being hypocritical because she didn't talk about gay marriage and then go out and have a gay relationship.  She said she was against gay marriage, which a lot of people are, and did not put gay's down or ridicule them just said she was against gay marriage.  She is neither dumb nor is she a hypocrite for having an opinion which some do not agree with. That question should never have been asked in the first place let alone that idiot getting on TV and saying those things he did about her.  At no time did she say I'm against sex or premarital sex.  That wasn't what they asked her about so why make a big deal out of that tape.  That is my opinion and the way I see things.  In case you hadn't noticed anyone that has an opinion different than that of the left is suddenly an idiot or worse even if they happen to have an above average IQ.  So how is that possible?  They are also hate mongers, trouble makers, and a threat to society.  What is going on?  Heck they're even turning on their own when they don't agree.  Ya'll really need to take those blinders off.
