exactly...

Henry Hawk don't pay them no mind. That's what the devil does when someone stands up against him. She spoke out against depraved behavior and Satin sent his hounds from hell to further malign her. It's the spirit of evil that makes these people and others like them froth at the mouth with hatred.

Doc sounds an awful lot like Morgan. Nobody can parody the True Believers like the president and spiritual leader of the PPDC.

Satin, is very nice....smooth, and slick.  Don't use satin sheets unless you want to slide off of the bed though. :spooked:

Wow Doc.  You sound like you really believe in those devils and demons running around in your world.  For you, and Hank, the broad is goofy and I agree with her on the gay marriage thing.  Gays no more need to enter into a religious marriage for the state any more than any other couples do.  Its a religious sham, ESPECIALLY since you fuks claim the religious definition of it; one man, one woman (except of course for your brothers in jesus who claim; one man, several women (mostly children).

You have a very strange view of mainstream religion.

I'd really like to know just what "mainstream" religion's tenets are.

Not far from my house there are four churches: methodist, catholic, presbyterian, and baptist.

All disagree with each other on most points (or so it seems when talking to the members of the congregations).

I can depend on a donnybrook when religion rears its head down at the local restaurant.

Makes me wonder just what is "mainstream" about any religion.

Oops. Forgot to include the jewish synagogue, which is about 18 miles away.

I went looking and what I've come up with is that "mainstream religion" is determined by politics.  Including government politics, not just politics within the church.  They use "mainstream religion" as a form of mind control, and it is found in every religion no matter how far apart each one differs.

Now whether or not I agree with that definition....I do believe that anyone or any entity that works hard at persuading you believe what they believe, is interested in controlling your thoughts and actions.  I prefer to believe how I want, and call myself spiritual with Christian influence.

Mainstream religion, at least to the people I talk to, which includes at least 5 denominations including catholic, is 1. belief in a supreme being 2. belief in Jesus 3. Helping those in need 4. Acceptance 5. belief in heaven and hell. There are differences in how these beliefs are expressed, but the basis of all seem to be helping other people. I go to a Methodist church, my best friend is a Quaker, my children are Catholic, another friend is Baptist, one a Pentecostal, several Church of God. All have strong mission emphasis and all are tolerant of most people. This is my experience.
