I think we beat Dallas

and the Titans,

Jacksonville will be our real test, but would not bet on the Colts..

Hopefully by the time we get to the Raiders, we have Clark back and some problems worked out...

again, we SHOULD beat the Titans....

I predict...10-6 at the worst.....


and how bout dem BEARS!!!....played REALLY GOOD yesterday and finally acted like a REAL winning team.

The Titans historically have been problematic at times for the Colts, and with the sick, lame, and lazy list so long for the Colts starters I believe this will be the case in both games against them to end the season. (8 - 8 is a very real possibility for the Colts unless these rookies get the practice time in to get the timings in sync. Clearly that is a HUGE challenge facing the Colts. Where the starters that are disabled are concerned, most of them have been out for so long now that timing is going to be a key challenge for them as well, and this deep into the season there is little hope of them achieving it in time to salvage the season).

Dallas Clark is out until next season, so there is no help there. We MIGHT get Collie back, but to tell you the truth I believe the boy has a major issue with the concussion thing and it may be a career ending issue where he is concerned. Adai, who knows and at least he can block. . . .

That the Colts are tied for 1st in the division is as much an indication of the sorry state of the teams in it as it is for the Bears. Both teams, should they make the playoffs, will be eliminated in the first round. That's my prediction. The AFC South and NFC North do not contain a team that is capable of winning it all the way things stand now.

Yesterday the Bears got lucky because the Eagles didn't come out of the gate with their A game. It took them too long to adjust to the Bears and they paid for it with a 5 point loss. Had they achieved it 3 minutes sooner the Eagles would have snatched the game from them by game end. . .

And now the Cowgirls are beating up on the Colts today! Manning has already thrown 2 interceptions, 1 for a touchdown, as the Cowgirls are 3:18 from taking a 17 - 7 lead into the half. . . :eek:

Yup! I agree. Though I am glad they fired that sad sack of a head coach they had, it does little to improve my perception of them thanks to JJ and his greedy and selfish persona. . .

I know the Cowgirls have improved since the firing, but sweet baby Jeebus hangin on the cross! Now they are suddenly capable of pounding the Colts?

The Colts have so many injuries, I don't hold too much hope; then again, the Cowboys just missed the field goal, so there is a shot.

All I have to say is they had better come out for the second half locked and loaded for bear, or they're going to lose this one.

Yeah, I forget the percentage of starters the Colts have on the lame list, but it is very high and certainly enough to drastically screw them up.
But then again, it just goes to prove that the quarterback is not the only key position. . .

It was a team game years ago when I played it in high school and college, and it hasn't changed in that respect.

It's just that when you've won as many MVP awards as Manning has, everyone expects miracles.

Well, they came out on fire - TD pass to Wayne i just over a minute to pull within three.

Yeah, the noobs are not running the routes correctly, and Manning's game is all about the timings. We see that with Reggie's two catches in this game.

The problem now is that IF any of the vets get well and can return, they're not going to be any better than the noobs at first, and I am not sure there is enough time for them to get back up to speed at this stage of the season.
