Whatever happened to the Anti-War protesters?.............if I recall correctly we are STILL at war, and we are STILL having soldiers being killed in the line of duty.......... .............so why is it, AFTER Bush is out, these guys went away?

are they JUST politically installed citizens by the left to disrupt the right?.....were they NOT sincere?...........what gives?

Hmmm....and, as I recall, there was no timeline in place 'way back then. ('Cept for the "mission accomplished" shiat thing, as if the whole military operation was over.)

Had a time line in place before Bush left office too and it has passed because it wasn't practical, as Obama found out when he took office, that's why Code Pink is protesting.  That and the fact that Obama expanded the war by sending troops to another country too.

Maybe the media I read didn't cover these protests, as you say. All I could find regarding Code Pink actions recently (2009 & 2010)were some stunts demanding BP be held accountable for the oil spill damage, a condolence call at the Turkish embassy in DC and a bit of street theater in San Francisco following the attack on the relief ships to Gaza, and an ongoing campaign to show up at Karl Rove book signings.

Please share with us all the details of their anti-war protests that you are so fortunate to have facts about. Only those that took place in 2009 and 2010, please, since you insist they are still protesting deployment.

And for the record, the media outlets where I found the oil spill, Gaza convoy, and author Rove stories are ABC, CNN, CBS, UPI, the Washington Post, the LA Time, SF Chronicle and a bunch of local newspapers and broadcast outlets.

Please elaborate upon this supposed expansion of the war. I want to know exactly what the heck you are talking about here. . . The only two active theaters of operations were and are Iraq and Afghanistan. . .

So once again this is a case where the POTUS is damned if he does, and damned if he doesn't. If he had not sent in the reinforcements requested by the operations leadership, he'd have been castigated, and was despite sending them.

He chose to err on the side of caution and demonstrate the support for the men and women actively risking their lives every second of every day. I applaud him for that.

Moreover, his actions did nothing more than re-deploy headcount toward the initiative from which they were diverted in order to address the Iraqi oil campaign put into place by the Shrub. . .

How can it be smoke and mirrors if no one knew they were protesting if the lamestream media didn't cover it?  They sure didn't hesitate to cover any and all protests about Bush.  Why is it different now?
