As a sidebar to that while thing, hospice will dispatch you painlessly, but they also do it as quickly as they can.  Once the IVs start flowing, the morphine is increased to make sure you pass quickly.  I've personally seen it, and I have several RN friends who have confirmed that's the case.

I kind of thought so from what I've observed with two family members of a close friend and my better half's sister.

I seen Hospice work.  With my dad, he was in so much pain and out of his mind to die.  Hospice came and gave him the pain relief he needed and he went to sleep and pass in a good way, in his sleep.  :'(  Let me have Hospice if I get that bad.

One of my best friend had cancer and was in pain, but not to the point of being out of his mind.  He asked the Hospice nurse how much time did he have.  She told him that she had been a Hospice nurse for 25 years and she thought with all of his body signs said to her that he had no more time than 4 days.  I sat in his kitchen with him and I had brought him some Church's chicken which he love.  He was at peace, no pain and a clear mind.   My wife and I plus his large family was there having more of less a good time waiting for the reaper.  He came that night, in his sleep. :'(

Hospice is sure a good deal for someone who is dying.

Especially former secretaries. They're probably the most special of all. ;D

I couldn't agree more Troll.  I was just pointing out that their palliative care is also meant to dispatch as quickly as possible.

When you sick and tired of being sick and tired, quicker is better.     For me and the people I love.   I think it is a shame that we can help our pets out better than our own family.  I held my cat when the doctor put he to sleep, he was very sick and ready to go.  I was ready to help him to leave in peace.   :milk: :sweetheart:

I hope I can find help, some doctor who will let me have the medicine for me to leave on my own terms and let me say, I did it my way.  I have had experiences with nursing home.       It's not a place I want to leave the earth from.

Again, I couldn't agree more.  I feel the exact same way.

Aaah yes, the NewsWeek Magazine.  I can remember I subscribed to NewsWeek and Time for years.     Then they change their format, going YUPPY, rich and Conservative.     Pushing the Republican Party and kowtowing to the rich segment of the population.

I stopped :stop: taking them, nothing lost.  In this day and age you have to be for the whole population, you can't forget the 47% and be just for the rich.  Especially if you're in the print business.

The Anderson Herald - Bulletin picked the wrong side, the Republican side and was a Republican rag.  :haha:  All you have to do is buy one and see how small it is.  This paper is on it way out.

My god I hope so, the murdering son of a bitch.  He could have when down in history as a great leader.  Instead he will down in history as just another tin horn dictator who inflicted much pain to his people.   :devil29:
