is there really anything to this, or is it just an observation?

For some people, there's a lot to it. You either feel it, know it, or don't.  :sneaky:

Has anyone else noticed that when someone is near death the talk to others who have already died? I have sat with several people as they died and most of them did that.

My daughter in law Ann said that two day before her very sick father died.  He sat at the kitchen table with his eyes closed and carried on a conversation with his long dead wife her mother.  Talking how good the food was and if she was enjoying it.  She said it went on for a half hour or so.  He sure had missed his wife of many many years.   :smitten:

She took their ashes to Saint Thomas and they are now swimming and enjoying a beautiful tidal pool down there on Permanent vacation from the cold winters of Michigan.

Yes and that guy was a douche.
Arguing with Christians is like playing chess with a pigeon.  No matter how good I am at chess, the pigeon is just going to knock over the pieces, shit on the board and strut around like it's victorious.

The truth is slow, but relentless. Over time it becomes irresistible.
