 Mahmoud Ahmadinejad  of Iran, seems to be wanting to join the other two stooges who are now fertilizer. I'm betting our troops will not get much of a respite if this jackass has anything t do with it.  :mad: :mad: :mad:

He's already running his mouth, and we all know Iran has been working on nukes for quite sometime now. My guess is this idiot was only quiet hoping we'd forget about him until he had achieved significant progress. Now he's spewing again, so you can bet your ass they've got something up their asses.  :mad:

A very touching memorial service was conducted this afternoon in Indianapolis, for the late Dan Wheldon.

It was televised on WTHR and I found the personal anecdotes and insights into the life of Mr Wheldon inspiring. A rare glimpse into the life of a true ambassador for the sport and a great driver!

For me he was 60 minutes. I grew up watching that program and never stopped because of him. His was the segment I could always count upon, and the one I consistently enjoyed the most. A lot of the time the only reason I tuned in was to see his show ending segments.

It is perhaps in large part due to his ability to view life's minutia at all the angles, why I at times seem to see things in a way that most folks overlook, or dismiss off-handedly. At a minimum, his style helped me to develop an ability that I might have overlooked myself if not for him; so although I am no Andy Rooney, I have him to thank for highlighting that method in a way that made it attractive to me.

After his announced retirement a month ago, wherein he said "writers will always write", I tried to imagine how a man who had just finished his 1097th video commentary would spend his time in retirement. I thought he might write another book or two, but mostly I thought he'd just shuffle about his quarters feeling like he was missing a deadline or something. I suppose 30 days wasn't enough time for him to actually recognize the hole in his life retirement would create. And for a guy like Andy Rooney, that was probably a good thing.

He was missed before he crossed over. He will now be missed endlessly.  :'(
