THAT explains why the women are now active in this topic!

That you read "Tiger Beat" says something now doesn't it!

I once heard someone say Corey Haim couldn't act well enough to play a corpse.  :spooked:

I'm serious about that too.

It just never ceases to amaze me when I stop to think about the number of successful and famous people that have lost their lives to booze, drugs, or suicide. Clearly money and success are nothing but a panacea for humanity, and are not enough to truly placate the human spirit.

My opinion, for what it is worth, is that the money and fame leads them to believe they have stepped above the problems of the hoi polloi. Eventually, they find that they are not as important or as bulletproof as they once thought. The fall is too much to bear.
Ignorance and fanaticism are ravenous. They require constant feeding.

then there are people who should never sober up...take Aerosmith for example...they sober up and all of their music turns to ballads. :puke:

Sad that almost 40 years after Nixon basically declared a "war" on cancer (1971), that we seem no closer to being able to find a cure than we were then.

Big Pharma, et al, have no incentive to cure anything.  Its the drugs they can sell to promise a cure that keeps them going.  In fact, I would suggest their motivation is to make and keep us sick so drug sales continue to climb.  Doctors no longer practice medicine to cure anything, either.  They only know what to do based on the last drug rep's visit, or their junket to play golf, paid for by big pharma.
